These bowls are a treasure. I got them to make baked Alaska for my grandson's birthday. Haven't gotten around to that yet, but did have the opportunity to use them over the Memorial Day weekend.

The fact that each bowl has a cover worked out well. My pasta salad was mixed, covered and refrigerated. Even if you can't cook, these bowls will come in handy.

I have owned this set for about three months now, i love them!!! i even requested another set for my coming up birthday this week. My only issue is of course the lids, they are so tight , the food stays very fresh because of that, i have no complaint. But its impossible for me to open them on my own, i always need my husbands help, and even he seems to struggle. Other than that, great product for a very affordable price. Despite the lid issue, i can't wait to get my second set, Im super excited.

great bowls

I own other Anchor Hocking glass items that I love, which is why I purchased these as well, but these lids are so hard to remove that I almost spill what's inside.

Hard to remove lids!

Purchased the first 6pc set and stored something in one of the bowls and noticed next day that the lid came off and had split. Took that set back to Walmart exchanged it for another and stored something in them and same thing happened. They are good heavy bowls, but if you are looking for bowls with lids go with something else.

Lids split

We have the set with the red lids. Two of the lids are so tight I can't get them off without help. The other lid is so loose it's practically useless. Don't buy these!!!
