great look at history from a different perspective

Everything was excellent. Only concern was all the discs were out of their sleeve position sliding around. Still thankful I get to keep this forever.

I'm excited to watch this.  It's good for nights when I can't sleep.😉 I have already watched about 6 episodes so far.
I was a little nervous about one of the discs. Some kind of blemish on it but it seems to play ok.

We love the series however in this set of 36 discs at least 7 are defective and will not play! I think whoever is selling these know this issue by now, this is the second set I have tried with the same discs being defective, it should not be sold on the shelf since it's obvious by so many reviews that it is defective! So sad that it doesn't work!

7 of 36 DVD DISCS ARE DEFECTIVE AND DO NOT PLAY!

i wish i could watch this. but the end of each section of each disk will freeze. i literally have to unplug my dvd player and just go onto the next section. some of the sections are completely frozen. Im so annoyed.

Just confirming that the set is defective. My package looked okay, I was fine with the packaging unlike some others but its the actual dvd's that are an issue. Same kind of reviews all over Amazon too. You really don't want to buy this set, discs are definitely not made right and I suspect not a lot of people are getting lucky and getting a good set of these.

Love the series , however the packaging is pathetic.  Discs are in cardboard pockets , unprotected. No matter how careful you are the discs fall out . I figured I would just use my own dvd cases to protect the discs.  But this is only the beginning of the troubles . The discs are defective . Some episodes dont play all the way and freeze up , locking your player up and then it takes several minutes to eject the disc . Some whole sections of season 2 doesn't load at all . I took the set back to the store and replaced it with a new set . When I tested the set ...guess what ? Same thing ..episodes fail to play through in the same places as the original set . Same with whole sections of seasons not playing at all , in the same places as the returned set. Beware this 10th Anniversary release is not only poorly and cheaply packaged but the set is totally defective.  It's a shame because this series is amazing ..its too bad the manufacturer didn't take releasing this set very seriously . What a joke . Lionsgate , History Network and A
