Ease Of Assembly

Assembly Instructions

Can be straightforward with clear instructions, but may require extra effort or glue.

Can be clear, but often confusing and unclear.

Can be sturdy, but also prone to flimsiness.

May not support heavy loads due to material.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love the design of this shelf. It's so nice and expensive looking although it's a good price. I use it in my classroom for books and storage bins and I love the warmth it adds to a space. Goes perfectly with a little plant on top.

Great expensive looking book shelf

influenster.com

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am always looking for ways to not only beautify my house but also finding storage solutions, that's why I was so happy this amazing rattan bookcase from Anko! My husband and son had a fun time assembling the bookcase and I had an even more fun time styling and filling the shelves! It adds an understated elegance to any room and the rattan backing really adds visual interest into what would be a typical book shelf. For me it was not just a way to hold books but rather a way to showcase all my favourite things like my tea light holder collection! I love that y fits well with many different decor styles depending on how you style it. I love that Anko has elevated the typical bookshelf!

Beautiful addition to any room

Overall great unit! Instructions are ok. The D SCREWS are not long enough. Several won't grab and hold. 1 or 2 threads at tip of screw to grab with. Had to use many of my own longer screws!!!

D SCREWS SUCK!!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is such a beautiful bookcase. It's a little heavy so you need help taking it out. There is also some assembly required, but it is pretty easy to do when you follow the instructions in the booklet. My husband assembled it within 45 minutes. The wood is strong which is what I like and it doesn't look cheap and gives a nice luxe finish to the room. I really liked how it looks and it is sturdy enough to hold books and decors. I only took one star off as some people can be put off by assembly as in my case so I got my husband to do it, but it's not too big of a deal! Overall I would recommend!

Sturdy and beautiful wooden bookcase

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This rattan book shelf was easy to assemble and is a cute addition to my house. Some of the screw holes were too big for the screws but thankfully these weren't necessary to keep the shelves in place. The shelf is larger than it appears in the ad.

Cute Rattan Shelf

Nice shelf but unfortunately they don't give you long enough screws so it's har dot put together.

Looks nice

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is a decent size. Much larger than I anticipated. The quality is not great though. The screws given are not long enough to screw the pieces into each other so when it was flipped all the screws fell out. Its not for lack of experience putting bookshelves together either. We build things from scratch and have put many pre-made shelves together too for reference. I think it would make a good shelf to put minimal things on it though. It looks nice and can be functional regardless of the screws situation.

It is not worth 190 Canadian though.

Not worth the price and the quality isn't great.

I have assembled a lot of things in my life. Many of them from walmart but this bookcase is ridiculous. The screws aren't long enough . the holes don't line up.
I had my adult son try also and he said the same thing.
I even tried to find a video demonstrating how this goes together and nothing!
The instructions ( I usually don't have to look at those) are awlful.
Can you help please

I've made 5 attempts

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Oh wow. I'm beyond disappointed at this bookcase.
For context I have assembled a lot of furniture in my 56 years of life and this was the most frustrating experience I've had. The screws aren't long enough. Nothing lines up properly. . My son is going to try and reinforce it and put it in his room to hold his guitar picks. This is cheaply made and probably wouldn't last a week. . Would definitely NOT recommend

Horrible

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was really disappointed with the Anko Fraser Rattan Bookcase. The top shelf arrived cracked, and the overall quality was poor. The screws provided were too short to hold the parts securely, so the structure feels unstable and pieces come loose easily. It looks nice, but the manufacturing issues make it unusable. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Poor Quality and Defective Parts

Anko Fraser Rattan Bookcase, 3 Tier Natural A centered, front-facing view of a three-tier rattan bookcase with open shelving and woven natural rattan texture; three spacious wooden shelf planes set in a slim woven frame, shown with books and small décor on a neutral studio backdrop. Often used for book display, framed photos or as a plant-friendly decorative shelving unit.
