It works great! It sucks all of the air out. If you put the bag in wrong, (I have been cutting them in half) it won't seal it. It senses this. Then you just do a better job and it will go right to seal. I freeze everything, meat, fruit, veggies, bread. Bananas do not turn color. Be careful with bread. It sucks the air out too well. Use the manual button to get it just right and not crushed. Then seal.

This thing is basic but great!
