Ease Of Use

Temperature

The required paid subscription to use the app is outrageous. I also found the documentation to be poor. I had to find a video online for a different model to make it work.

Older version better

bought as a Christmas gift for my son...he loves it. Took a steak out of the freezer and cooked it to perfection...exact temp throughout! Shipping was superfast...

perfect gift

I used it successfully to cook chicken breasts. It worked just fine and kept the temperature. I could not connect to the device via Bluetooth. The app was a clear no-go. Because I couldn't create an account with the app, there was no way for me to use it.

App sucks, the sous vide worked fine on its own.

This is now about our third sous vide machine.  We love cooking with it.  Our new machine is far easier to use than our prior one.

Great upgrade

I have had several of these.  This one was easier to clamp on, the controls were nicer and it did a nice job controlling the water bath.

The perfect steak

I cooked some Axis deer steaks with it and it cooked them to a perfect temperature and was not chewy. It took about 6 hours, long and slow. Very tasty.

Amazing cooker

My first one died after about a year with limited use, hopefully this one will last longer. I do like it. I really like having the wifi option because you can control it when you are away from home if you need to with the app.

Nice Little GadgetTo Have

I learned about sous vide because my Instant Pot had a sous vide setting and I didn't know what that was, so I looked it up and found that sous vide is a great way to cook steaks! I also bought a separate rectangular container to hold more steaks than the round Instant Pot container and discovered that this unit cooks faster because it circulates the water (which, of course, the Instant Pot does not). I recommend sous vide if you like steak!
