Price

This is not a tire that is ultra high performance or anything. But what this tire really is a tire that is very good for everyday driving. Great price for anyone trying to squeeze your dollar. Again people we are not professional drivers who need 200 dollar tires.  Well made and gets the job done for a great price.

I bought these tires just looking for a cheap solution, not expecting quality and performance in hopes that they would work until I could spend the 800.00 on the tires I normally buy. Absolutely surprised with my purchase, the tires are quiet,attractive,performed well in the rain and best of all were affordable. I wish I had bought sooner and wish I had bought two sets. I have watched these tires go up in price twice now. I could have saved even more buying sooner. If you are on the fence about these tires I suggest buying them before the are 100 dollars each. Price was once 55.00 a tire.

Have had them for 3 weeks . They have been good in the rain, low road noise overall seems to be a good tire for half the cost. It will be interesting to see how they hold up.

This tire seems to work well in snow and rain, it is fairly quite and smooth. I feel it will be a good tire and last about average.
I think it is a cheaper tire and they are having trouble establishing a price for it. At $52 it is fantastic but over $90 then I will pass. They raised the price to $65 a few days after I bought mine at $52 ? Not sure what is going on.

Good deal one day then price changes?

For the price why not,  dry grip is not bad but in the rain they slip quiet​ easily with any throttle but driving normal they are fine.

Price is cheap, if you need a tire

Background: Got a nail near my tire sidewall on my front driver-side tire, plugged it, plug failed to fix the leak, found tire shop prices to be too steep, shopped online for something cheaper.

I ordered this tire for store pickup for $55, marked down from ~$100—the best deal I could find on any tire of this size.  The tradeoff is convenience: I could walk in to a shop and get something sameday, or I could wait for shipping.

I waited several days for the tire to arrive, picked it up, drove to a tire shop down the road, had it mounted, and drove to the airport ~12 hours later.  While on the interstate, both on my trip away from the tire shop and on my later trip to the airport, I was noticing severe vibrations—the tire was incredibly unbalanced.  This was a Friday.  The following Wednesday, I drove it from the airport to North Austin and stopped at a different tire shop to get it rebalanced.  About an hour after dropoff, I came back into the shop and the folks there told me they couldn't and wouldn't do anything with the tire, because it was outright defective.  I had them put the wheel back on and refund the charges that I paid upfront for rebalancing.  I drove home, made an online appointment with a third tire shop to have a completely new tire installed the next day, and ended up arranging for a second as well, since the front passenger-side tire would be reaching end of life before my next inspection as well, and I was sick of tire shops by this point.

I told the shop not to recycle the tires, because I hoped to be able to return the defective one.  By the time I had run around doing all these things, I'd put ~100 miles on the tire.  My only concern was that they wouldn't issue a refund since the tire was used—my perspective, though, was that it's not as if it's a lost sale because they can't accept the (now-used) tire from me and turn around and resell it to someone else—the tire was DOA and shouldn't be going to anybody.

Walmart customer service was very understanding and ended up accepting the tire and issuing a refund.  The only question was how to process the return, although the person there in the store made sure to just issue the refund and work out their end of the problem for later.  In all, the refund process took about 10 minutes.

Would recommend buying from Walmart if unsure about the quality of a given item and want to be sure of your option for a hassle-free return in the event that things go south.  Would not recommend buying this particular SKU.

Plus side: Walmart's excellent refund policy
