[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these tinsnips on a aluminum soffit and fascia job. They cut the aluminum materials as a hot knife threw butter. They fit in my hand very well without any discomfort as several other name brand snips do. The quality of materials used to manufacture this product is very good.The tinsnips are very light weight.  Didn't notice any weight in my tool belt. I  will highly recommend these outstanding tin snips to other  co-workers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are excellent snips. They are large, to be sure. They are much moreso than typical aviation snips or similar tools. They grip and feel similar to really big scissors. They are far from unwieldy, thanks the smaller holes above the handles. I actually find myself using them as a sort of marker to steady my cuts as well as aiding in management of the size of the tool.  Don't worry, though, the large size is of little consequence compared to their usefulness. They are definitely well made and a HEAVY DUTY tool. I have used them to cut roofing metal and various other metal and vinyl materials, just to see what they're capable of doing. What impressed me most is how CLEAN the cuts they make are. Normal aviation snips can often leave a rough pattern behind after cutting metals. These do not. The cut is clean and smooth like scissor cuts on paper. In fact, careful work could produce near factory quality edges. I'm sure I will find more uses along the way but for now I am definitely packing them for an upcoming roofing job.

They cut so easy I was putting up metal framing studs and when I took out these bad boys out the guys on my job that I was crazy to use them due to the size. But they did a great job and I was cutting the studs without any problems. Now everyone on site is always asking me to use them every time they got some metal to cut.

The shape of the handle makes you think its uncomfortable in it's handling. It takes a little getting used to, but after the initial change of design it will be the best pair of shears you'll have. I was cutting through everything! Nice and smooth like a Commodores hit song.

I've found them extremely effective at cutting vinyl siding as well. They're a step above your standard tin snips and the range of motion makes them a lot easier to get a better bite on your project.
