This paint is rich in texture and brilliant in color, and it applies evenly and smoothly and dries fast. Never buy this paint as a set because the quality isn't as good in the sets of paints (usually sold in sets of six or eight).

I've always used other brands of acrylic paint like "Anita's" or "Americana DecoArt" because they are inexpensive and sold at a local craft store.  I recently was in Walmart for a couple things and picked up a 2 oz bottle of light turquoise colored Apple Barrel brand Acrylic and when I painted with it, I noticed it was like a very watered down version of any other acrylic paint I've used.  I have to paint a double coat of it just to equal one coat/brush stroke of other acrylics.  Maybe if you just need something for a quick project it would be fine, but I don't think this paint is worth buying because a single paintbrush stroke of this stuff just looks streaky and watered down. Inspired to review this because I was surprised there could be such a difference in acrylic paints and I guess I wasted a few bucks cause I bought 2 bottles. Anita's or DecoArt is what I recommend. It only costs a few cents more, anyway.
