The Apple Watch series 8 looks exactly the same as the previous generation, with slightly larger bezels and a brighter screen. the sports band is very durable and fits snugly onto my wrists. Build quality overall is amazing. Battery life is also improved and lasts about 1.5 days for me.

Great value for money.

I've only had this watch for a few days, but so far I love it. I'm 66 years old, never went to college, if I can figure it out anybody can. It buzzes me when my pill alarms go off. It keeps track of my blood oxygen, if I fall it knows it, if I'm in a car accident, it calls the police and what have you. I'm in a wheelchair so I don't have to go around looking trying to remember where I left my phone last. It can also do an ECG. So far the only thing it doesn't do is “mash potatoes.” But maybe I just haven't figured that out yet.

Great Purchase

I love this watch and wear it day and night. I charge it right before going to sleep. It charges very quickly!! It gives me details on my sleep cycle, tracks my menstrual cycle, my steps, my heart rate, my breathing rate, how much activity was at optimal aerobic heart rate. It reminds me to stand throughout the day since I work a desk job. It also shows my message right on my watch so I don't have to keep checking my phone. I love that I can wear it swimming and in the shower too! I can skip songs on my phone while it's playing on the counter during my shower and I can see what time it is so I don't lose track of time in the shower. Honestly it's been life changing! I got one for my daughter now and one by one plan to get one for everyone in the family!

Truly life changing!! So glad I bought this!!

The item I received came with broken seals, and a missing case. It appeared that a refurbished or returned item was shipped to me. I purchased two watches in two different colors  from the same  website page and I received one statement at the beginning with the same delivery date for both.  Later on, I received an email that the second item would be delivered later from a third party. I returned the item the same day it arrived.

Open/returned item sold as brand new

The “watch” I received came in the original Apple box. The watch band and charger were brand new and looked like Apple products, the actual watch was not. It was much lighter, a copper color that Apple doesn't make, it looked completely different and it didn't magnet to the charger. It wouldn't turn on either. 

The original post says this is shipped and sold by Walmart but that was not true. It was sent by a third party seller, VIPOUTLET. Luckily I returned it and got a full refund but it's frustrating that Walmart allows this on their website and it's misleading showing  it's sold by Walmart when it's not.

Fake counterfeit watch!

Upon receiving the watch the box seemed to be tampered. The top was sealed with clear packing tape and the Apple Watch was missing. The issue remains in dispute to this day. Even after showing the Ring camera video and images of the empty packaging left behind inside the Walmart box.

Be careful buying this item!!

I never write any reviews, but the experience I had buying this watch was unpleasant, so I decided to write one. Hopefully, other customers don't experience what I had to go through. 
I ordered the watch on October 11 and received it on the 14th. One week into using it, I started to see that it was heating up and turning off while charging. Since I bought the Allstate protection plan, I thought I would contact them rather than return it to Walmart. They told me to mail the watch to them so they could repair it, so I did that. Two days later, in the morning, I received an email saying they had received the watch. The evening of the same day, I received another email stating they could not repair the watch and sent me a Walmart gift card for the watch itself, which was $349. The total cost for that watch was 414.60(349 for the watch, 34 for the protection plan, and tax 31.60) They didn't even ask me if I wanted the watch back or the gift card. They did not refund the tax or the protection plan cost since they couldn't even fix it, and I only used the watch for barely 1 week. Not only that, they said that they would not return the watch back to me. If I were to return the watch to Walmart, they would have refunded the whole amount. The bottom line is there is no use in paying for the protection plan from Allstate. I called them to see if there was any way I could get the watch back, but they kept saying that they had refunded me the amount for the watch, and that is what the plan covers so they couldn't return the protection plan cost. I even told them that they could take that gift card back and just return that watch to me. They said they would get back to me soon. I really hope Allstate can fix this.
I will come back and update the end result.

Don't buy the Allstate Protection plan

I ordered this online and the third party seller was through VIP Outlet. The watch came in all authentic Apple packaging with proper pamphlets, watch band, and charger. The only item that was NOT authentic was the watch itself. The watch will not turn on!! The glass is not aligned, the buttons are very loose, and the magnet in the charger doesn't stick to back of the watch. Lastly, the text on the back is not the same as an authentic Apple Watch. I will be avoiding using third party sellers from Walmart from now on. For the photos, the first is what I received and the second is what the back of the watch should look like.

FAKE APPLE WATCH!!! DO NOT BUY THROUGH VIP OUTLET

I was waiting till Christmas to open Apple Watch but gave it earlier instead to my surprise it looked like it was opened and then repackaged and  one side of the wrist band is broken as the other side that's not will not stay connected To the Apple Watch Itself. I have owned 2 other watches previously so I know how to set it up. i spent enough money on this I'm furious and this is an embarrassment to give as a gift
