Can be smooth and convenient, but also prone to leakage or breakage.

Containers are portable and easy to transport.

Just be careful with spout. Once they break they are useless. They need to sell replacement caps. Mine lasted years but got bumped and started leaking. Every one that I have seen at garage sales have the same broken leaking cap. But great untill bumpe. So be careful.

I moved away from those "collapsible" containers because I never found one with a good spigot. This Aqua-Tainer is perfect!  Makes a great camping sink and it has a sturdy but easy to turn spigot. I also used it when my well pump was down for two days. I just placed it on my kitchen counter over the sink and it saved the day!

Great Water Storage Solution

These water containers are well made and very sturdy. The handle makes it easy to pick up and carry even full of water. The sprout makes it easy to pour water. We have purchased these before and they hold up great! This is a third time buying these containers. I appreciated that the more your buy, the less price you pay per container. It was several dollars less to buy 4 at a time. Great value!

Great water container to buy.

I have a Camper that I often go off-grid boondocking in.  On these excursions I often have to tote in water to resupply for 1-2 week stays, and will use up to a dozen of them at a time.  I find the Reliance Aqua-Tainer 7-gallon containers to be the sweet spot in potable water containers in terms of capacity/cost.  The plastic shells have high durability, and the Sturdiness is only beat by much heavier metal can-containers, the removable caps are easy to use with a variety of supply options from fixed faucets to hoses, etc - and the included spigots are super easy for most campsite applications..  When empty the containers are amazingly lightweight for their relative volume, and they easily clean up when I get dirt, sand or mud on them.

I've previously tried bladders, hard cans, and other water tote options, but when considering all my requirements, this is solution I keep coming back too.

If you need a good water container for your water hauling needs, I recommend you evaluate this 7-gallon storage option from Reliance.  It's certainly been reliable for me.

My preferred water-hauling solution!

Can't beat the storage capacity for the price. Make sure to keep the caps level and screw them on properly to prevent leaks. When you do that, it works perfectly. Great design. The spigot design is clever. Just change it to the external side when you're ready to use it. I store these upright to ensure no leaks. Works great!

It's worth doing a soap and water rinse followed by baking soda soak to get a lot of the factory plastic smell out before your first use.

Great value and high quality

I have owned and still own over a half a dozen of these. They work great and they're solid but there's one problem I found, and that's to keep them out of the Sun. The corners turn brittle with too much sun exposure. And it doesn't take that much. Just keep them covered or in the shade and they'll be fine.

Excellent Product

Just remember for long-term storage before you ever use it rinse it with soap and water and then use a little bleach like drops six drops per gallon and Swisher around in there up in the handle and things like that before you use it for storage of water water

We use these for emergency water storage at home.  We also use these square Aqua-Tainer water jugs for our water when we are traveling in our RV.  We can easily refill the jugs with clean filtered and sanitized water at any grocery store filling station.  I find it much easier to clean and refill these jugs, rather than dealing with the nasty on-board water tanks than must be bleached and flushed.  I am now replumbing the water system in our little 5th wheel so it draws kitchen water directly from an Aqua-Tainer!

Aqua-Tainer water storage jugs are versatile

This products has been used to store water over the years. I give the container a good wash before using again. NO BAD SMELLS. Water stay fresh tasting. Easy to store on counters for everyday use or long term storage. Draw back water is heavy to carry at 7 gallons. Good emergency prep item.

These jugs used to be top quality but over the past few years they are making them thinner and thinner. It's very easy to dent one in a thin corner and then it's stuck like that, creating a weak place that will lead to cracks and jug failure. I bought 2 in 2020 that were super thick and lasted for 5 years outside in the sun every day and travelled well over 50k miles with me with zero problems. The new ones I got from walmart are super thin and I doubt they will make it a year. As with everything you get from walmart, it may be the same brand and model but it's a lower quality item than the exact same item at a name brand store.

Way thinner material than they were 5 years ago

These are just over 90 days and all 4 of them have split open in my car, ruining a bunch of stuff. Just like all the other ones I've bought over the years. If you're going to have them full, only put them in the back of a truck and expect half of them to break within the first couple of uses, at the corners usually. I'm really disappointed with these and I just missed my 90 days to return them. I won't ever get them again. It's easier to just spray down my Mercedes leather with the garden hose or drive the car into a lake.

Total garbage. Every year they get weaker.
