Great for secluded off-grid cabins or camping without running water. Very heavy when filled. We use two. One for drinking and cooking and the other for washing up. Our house burned so we were happy to know they were still in existence since we had ours for 20 plus years.

I have a Camper that I often go off-grid boondocking in.  On these excursions I often have to tote in water to resupply for 1-2 week stays, and will use up to a dozen of them at a time.  I find the Reliance Aqua-Tainer 7-gallon containers to be the sweet spot in potable water containers in terms of capacity/cost.  The plastic shells have high durability, and the Sturdiness is only beat by much heavier metal can-containers, the removable caps are easy to use with a variety of supply options from fixed faucets to hoses, etc - and the included spigots are super easy for most campsite applications..  When empty the containers are amazingly lightweight for their relative volume, and they easily clean up when I get dirt, sand or mud on them.

I've previously tried bladders, hard cans, and other water tote options, but when considering all my requirements, this is solution I keep coming back too.

If you need a good water container for your water hauling needs, I recommend you evaluate this 7-gallon storage option from Reliance.  It's certainly been reliable for me.

My preferred water-hauling solution!

Can’t beat the storage capacity for the price. Make sure to keep the caps level and screw them on properly to prevent leaks. When you do that, it works perfectly. Great design. The spigot design is clever. Just change it to the external side when you’re ready to use it. I store these upright to ensure no leaks. Works great!

It’s worth doing a soap and water rinse followed by baking soda soak to get a lot of the factory plastic smell out before your first use.

Great value and high quality

We got the Reliance Aqua-Tainer 7 Gallon Water Container for storing our drinking water, and I really love it. It’s sturdy, holds a good amount of water, and is very easy to use. The spigot makes dispensing water simple and clean. It’s been very convenient for our needs, and I’m really happy with this purchase.

I need to haul water for potable use and this is ideal. It is functional, well-designed, and holds 6 gallons. The Walmart price was also less than Amazon...

Haven't used them, bought them for emergency and hurricane season. They seem super sturdy and Should last, and I like the size but they will be super heavy when full.

Water containers set of 4

I have owned and still own over a half a dozen of these. They work great and they're solid but there's one problem I found, and that's to keep them out of the Sun. The corners turn brittle with too much sun exposure. And it doesn't take that much. Just keep them covered or in the shade and they'll be fine.

Excellent Product

These are good water jugs - they are nice because they hold a lot of water and they don't tip over.  *I have 2 older jugs that are the same and the spigots both broke as the plastic aged - got replacement spouts (the whole spout assembly) but they don't screw on the older jugs - so that was a waste of money.  The jugs lasted a long time though - so they are a good value.
They are heavy when filled to the brim!

One funny thing they keep these locked in a glass cabinet at my Walmart - lots of thieves  steeling water jugs I guess  :/

Good jug for camping

These jugs used to be top quality but over the past few years they are making them thinner and thinner. It's very easy to dent one in a thin corner and then it's stuck like that, creating a weak place that will lead to cracks and jug failure. I bought 2 in 2020 that were super thick and lasted for 5 years outside in the sun every day and travelled well over 50k miles with me with zero problems. The new ones I got from walmart are super thin and I doubt they will make it a year. As with everything you get from walmart, it may be the same brand and model but it's a lower quality item than the exact same item at a name brand store.

Way thinner material than they were 5 years ago

They sell alot of these for good reason. like replacement parts, form and function, my little review wont impact their sales one way or another. Lying walmart, where I bought this online for delivery, is a huge part of my initial product experience, and the unprincipaled gipsters gipped me 5 dollars in the cart on a buy two for $5.00 off listing, not flsgging the differance in my cart. This after I pay them for a membership to serve me well. Walmart gets ZERO STARS!!!!! FOR HONESTY!!!!!!
