I recently decided to start baking cornbread in my iron frying pan.  It was so easy to grease the pan by spreading melted butter in it and the Cranberry Cheddar Cornbread was wonderful.  In less than an hour, it was ready to eat.  Next, I purchased the wedge pan which made perfect wedges and I froze some for future use.  I love the Lodge seasoned cast iron because they don't stick, are easy to maintain and the results from baking and cooking are perfect!

Love the crispy edges on cornbread, biscuits, brownies, hand pies etc. This cast-iron pan with the wedge compartments makes it easy to have single servings. I can make several batches and freeze the wedges, and they don't fall apart like the ones you would cook and cut. 
I've had no problems with sticking, and cleanup has been easy.

Very pleased

This pan is a high level WINNER but only if you care for it and use it correctly. NEVER use sprays on it. Look up: homemade pan release recipes. Hand wash and dry promptly. All cast iron needs proper care before and after use. I never use cooking sprays for anything. By the way, it is NOT dishwasher safe.

This newer style Lodge wedge pan is a top winner

I did not care for this pan. I do believe it was just me, nothing to do with the quality of anything. It was hard to clean because of the impressions and was too heavy for me to handle.

not at all as expected...extremely heavy and no matter how much i butter/spray/grease it everything sticks. I rarely use it now.
