Ease Of Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was extremely easy to use. It helped keep my pool water balanced and clear. Seemed to do well when I tested with my ph strips. Definitely makes maintenance easier and helps me avoid harsh chemicals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This helps your equipment in the pool have longevity because it keeps the pools on levels where they should be. It is very easy to use. You just follow the instructions. Thus far I have been very impressed with it. I would say if you have a pool this product is a must.

Must Have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a pool most of my adult life. The importance of maintaining the balance of pool chemicals is paramount. When your ph is to high it affects the way your chlorine works and your pool water becomes cloudy. It also allows for scale built up on your pool equipment and plumbing. Perfect ph range is between 7.2 -7.8. When your ph is higher it is time to add a ph decreaser. This comes in a granular form. Add 1/4 pound for every 10,000 gallons of water. We dissolved in a bucket of water and spread throughout the pool and let the pump run for 24 hours. This is easy to use and a high priority on pool care maintenance.

My PH levels were balanced and I didn't feel like I needed to be a chemist when using it.  Great instructions.

Product Worked Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening a pool can be a real nightmare, and you're always playing the too-low, too-much game with chemicals. The HTH brand chemicals are super easy to use, with very clear directions. They tend to act quickly, as described, and provide the results you'd expect. 

The PH didn't go down quite as much as I'd expect, but we've had a lot of rain (3-5 inches in a week) during the opening of my pool, so that surely impacted it's performance.
