I've now had this freezer for several months and I am extremely pleased. There has been no issue with properly freezing. Noise from appliances doesn't really bother me, but this freezer has none; in fact, in the beginning, I kept checking it as there were several times I thought it had stopped running. My brain was challenged when visualizing “3.0 Cubic ft” as it is much larger (roomier) than expected. Last, but not least, my freezer arrived in perfect condition, and it's pretty.

While it seemed to get caught in shipping....  Stuck for many days part way through delivery... it arrived.
Upon opening... it is top class!  Yes it freezes quickly and is truly the extra item needed to keep our food frozen during this COVID-19 Isolation!   Get it, you will be happy too!

essential equipment for COVID-19 isolation!

I had been looking for a freezer for awhile but with the virus, I think everyone else was purchasing them. Well, I finally found one and I have to say, I love it. Works great. I'm freaked out about continually going to store so once I received the freezer, I went to Walmart and stocked up on meats. Fits so much in there. I am very impressed with it.

It's a great little freezer just perfect for an apartment. Easy to set u and use. Light enough to be able to move it around as necessary. It was also a great price. I like to cook and buy foods in great quantity to save money. This will allow me to make and prep meals ahead of time as well and separate and keep meats etc. in single or double serving sizes. Lots less waste and spoilage.

Helping me in getting older and retired.

I very much like this freezer, but have not been able to try it out due to the lack of a power outlet in a practical place, so I'm unable to provide an accurate review.  Need to find an electrician.

Arctic King freezer

Odor will not go away! Washed it with vinegar and light dawn before plugging in, left it open for 24 hours. Freezer works well, but ice is already building up on the shelves after a couple of weeks. Should have looked around a bit longer. Wouldn't buy again :(

Keep Looking

As per the product details on Walmart website, the fridge can be used in unheated spaces like garage but the owner's manual supplied with product says the opposite.

Contradictory description of product

The freezer is very nice, but it arrived badly damaged.  The cardboard box was not totally closed, the styrofoam inside was in pieces ... couldn't believe how something like that would be approved to be delivered. We immediately refused delivery, assisted the FedEx person with taping the box (better than it arrived), and he took it back.  I am still waiting my credit card refund. It's been 8 days. Fingers crossed.

Disappointing!

The freeze looks like is going to work fine I don't love the shelves but it is ok.  The problem is the service, we ordered this freeze and got here three days late and broken.  The top shelf has broken and the other two bent.  We had to package the freeze again to get it back and took my husband more than and hour to do it.
We got the replacement and it is a little bit dented on the top.
This is the second time I order an applaince from Walmart and comes damage. I think we learned the lesson.
