I've been searching for the right litter for years. Cat's Pride was amazing but seems to no longer be sold in Canada. Super Scoop meets my need for the best clumping possible. Other brands (including Arm & Hammer brands) don't clump nearly well enough, resulting in dirty litter combining with the clean litter when scooping.

The best I could find

This is about the best clumping Cat litter I've used so far. Doesn't have a strong perfume smell, but keeps the cat odor away. It also doesn't create a lot of dust in the air, so there's not a white coating on everything.

good product

walmart.com

I was NOT a cat lover. The one reason was liter box odor and the HUGE mess it was to clean it. My son brought a 3 week old kitten home a year ago. I went to the store and purchased Arm & Hammer Multi Cat Scoopable liter. I scoop it everyday. And I only change the whole thing ONCE A MONTH !!!! Every few days I add a scoop or 2 just to replace what I've taken out. I absolutely LOVE this and ALL Arm & Hammer products. Laundry soap, fridge boxes etc..Thank you for your FANTASTIC products. They truly make life easier and smelling GREAT!!!!

armandhammer.com

I previously would have rated this litter a 5 as I switched over 3 years ago, but now I believe recently the formula has changed. This last box is very coarse, dark and doesn't really work the same way it previously has. It is not clumping like it did when the litter was not as coarse. I'm a bit disappointed as we previously liked it for how well it clumped and that it did a great job with odor control. I will unfortunately be looking for a replacement brand.

Formula Changed

We had loved Arm and Hammer Cat Litter for many years. This is now, by far, the worst litter we've ever experienced. I bought two boxes, still having faith in your products. It's heavy tracking, not light; even with three rugs to catch the sandy substance, it tracks everywhere. I dump our precious cats' trash can more than once a day because it smells awful. Your litter used to be the very best!! Sadly, it's become the worst.

Formula change?

This litter is the worst one I've used in over 2 decades of having cats. The absolute worse because it doesn't do it's main job; to mask odor. The second my cat uses this litter, the urine smell permeates the entire floor where I have to go and scoop the mess asap. If I leave the house for 8 hours I would come back to my entire house stinking of cat urine and feces. I never had this issue before with other brands so, never again Arm&Hammer!!!

Does not mask odor AT ALL

I have been using Arm and Hammer Super Scoop for a long time. With two large cats it is critical to have litter that clumps firmly and controls odor.

Super Scoop used to do this beautifully.

The last few boxes have been worthless. No clumping. Like ZERO clumps. Just a soggy mess of goo that slides through the scoop.

No odor control. We can smell litter boxes in the front of the house when they are down a long hallway in a separate room in the back.

I thought maybe it was a bad batch … things happen … so I kept trying.

It is not a bad batch. Apparently it is a new formula or a new supplier.

When your Super Scoop actually functions again, please let me know.

Until then, it's another brand for us.

What happened????!!!!

First time buying this and it worked great, just bought again and the color is darker, the texture is more like small pebbles and the liquid reaches the pan before it clumps up. I don't like scraping the pan every day..

What happened?!?!

My cat is 16 years old and this is the only litter we have ever used. Until recently. Our cat started pooping outside the litter box and finally we realized that it was possibly the litter. A while back, I noticed that the "fragrance free" litter clearly had a perfumy smell, but didn't worry too much about it. Until my cat started having litter box issues. Yeah, now I worry. I switched to another brand and voila, no more litter box problems. Arm & Hammer, I don't know what you did, but you screwed up a product I used exclusively for 16 years. I would NOT recommend this product if scent in the litter is an issue or concern for you. It is very dust free, clumps decently, but I can't use it anymore.

Fragrence Free? Not so much

I have used the Arm and Hammer Super Scoop litter for years, and it clumped very nicely. I purchased a box of Super Scoop marked "New", and it didn't clump nearly as well. I found a box not marked new, and it clumps very nicely like it always did. Simply put, the new Super Scoop does no clump as well as the old. A and H needs to go back to the old formulation.

The "New" Super Scoop Does not Clump
