For Beginners

This brush set has everything you need to start painting miniatures, and the brushes are good quality. They will last if you maintain them well. The combination of brushes is also great. If you are looking to get into miniature painting, buy this brush set!

Excellent Starter Brush Set

Great Starter Set, already have some paints and didn't get a mega set. Have you tried dollar store brushes and been unhappy with them. Try out the starter brushes. They're not the best Army Painter has to offer.. But when I started painting I used these. They can take abuse better then some of the nicer brushes. Plus for the price you get some nice brushes. Plus you don't feel soo bad when you accidently ruin them by leaving paint in them. Or jamming into the miniature. or allow paint in the ferrule. Best starter brushes you can find.

Great Starter Set

We all need brushes, so do yourself a favor and pick some of these up, alright? They're relatively cheap, and they're built to put up with some punishment. Pretty dang good if you ask me, and you kind of did by reading this review.

Awesome brushes

If you do not know what you need when starting to paint models, this is a great start.  These three brush are all you need for base coating and details.

Great starter set

I don't find much use for the included drybrush, and which they subbed that out for another rounded pointed brush,, but quality is good. The tiny one is ridiculously tiny and nails the job it is meant for.

Decent basic set

Perfect starter set for one who needs the basic brushes!

Must have for a beginner!

Like any brushes, you can buy a 1$ brush, or a $50 brush, but not cleaning and caring for them will destroy them.  Be sure to get some good brush cleaner, and you can keep this set working for months to come.  Always keep your warn out ones for when you have the mixing/jabbing/dabbing stuff and want to preserve these good brush points.

Good set but treat them right

These brushes are a great way to start your miniature painting hobby. This is a high quality selection of basic brushes that won't break the bank. You can safely learn the ins and outs of miniature painting with these brushes, and they'll last you a good long time with some basic maintenance and TLC.

Excellent Brushes for Beginners

I like the 2 pointed brushes but nota big fan of the included drybrush. Has its uses but its not really a drybrush.
