Assembly requires minimal effort and time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cub Cadet delivers again!!! Bought this cab a few years after I purchased the Cub Cadet 3 Stage 28" Snow blower.... don't know what I was waiting for! Keeps the snow and wind out of my face, can't imagine using the machine without it. Highly recommend 1000%.

Snow Blower Cab

cubcadet.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came really fast. Well packed easy to put on my snow blower. Works great. Look well made should last me many years.

Good company good product

troybilt.com

My home faces west, not only that but also faces the lake. That being said clearing the drive and walkways is a frigid challenge. Bought the snow cab to block out the fierce winds and the non-forgiving whiteout's from blowing snow. IT WORKS! No more Frosty the Snowman, now I'm dry and unaffected by the elements. Best buy I made this year.

The Protector

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of cubcadet] The cab was easy to assemble and attach to the snow blower. It did exactly what we purchased it for. It kept my husband much warmer and prevented snow from blowing into his face/chest. Love it. Thank you!

Protect yourself from the cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a blizzard here in Northern Michigan and this cab works great !!!! Kept the snow and wind off me.

Best snow blower cab !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. Kept the snow from blowing back in my face. I recommend buying this. Only downside so far is the canopy tends to slowly tilt back during use. Make sure it's really tight. I'm going to place small strips of rubber between the canopy clamp and the handlebar to create more friction.

Useful Add-on

This snow cab does a great job for the price! The only thing I would recommend is that the instructions were a bit clearer on the final step of mounting it. It should be mounted very securely onto the frame of the snowblower once the placement has been established. Tighten it down! It truly is universal - after seeing mine several of my neighbors have bought it for theirs.

Very happy especially for $67 delivered!

great value

I already had a cab for my snowblower but I've had it for awhile and it was getting a little worn down, cracking plastic, etc. Searched high and low before settling on this one and I wasn't disappointed.

After assembly, it mounts more solidly than my old one and the assembly was more straight forward. The fiberglass rods were a little tricky to get positioned but it wasn't a big ordeal.

The only issue I had with assembly is the tube where the cab frame is supposed to slide into the frame on the snowblower was a little bit off kilter and I had to wrestle with it some to get it into position. Also, the brackets that mount it to the snowblower were limited by the position of some bolts that are on the snowblower's handle. That prevented me from mounting it a little lower on the snowblower, which would have been nice but that's more about the construction of the snowblower. It clears my garage door and that's all that really matters.

There was one quirk with the flap. It has some hook and loop on the flap that allows access to the chute control, I guess so you can roll up the flap and fasten it in place but the separate sections of hook and loop are perpendicular when you roll it up. Not a big deal as I don't plan on using it.

Overall, I consider it an upgrade over my old one. The construction seems more solid and the plastic used in the windows seems to be of a better quality. Plus, I caught it when it was on sale so no complaints there.

Overall, thumbs up. I would have given it five stars if not for the slightly out of plumb frame piece, which may have just been the luck of the draw in my case and the quirky velcro. Neither were deal breakers though and I would purchase it again.

This should work fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble and works great. I definitely noticed I stay a lot warmer and drier whe using it. Only complaint is the clear plastic is extremely wrinkled and lilts clear visibility.

Old person status complete...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cab tends to slip down in the rear. I have tightened the mounting brackets a couple times, which improves it, but it still slips.

Review of universal snow blower cab

Erik F

The Cab was a little challenging to assemble by myself, but that aside, the concept is good. My problem is twofold. The Cab apparently was designed for a larger snow blower than mine, (I have a Toro, 2 stage 9HP), because the weight of the cab on handles causes the blower to tip over toward the operator. With the Cab attached the blower will not stand up without holding it. While I was able to attach the cab to my snow blower the alignment to the brackets was not exact and I could not tighten the bolts enough to prevent it from slipping out of the correct position.

You're Gonna Need a Bigger Snow Blower
