I've been wanting to switch to stainless steel for health reasons since we prepare rice every day. The pot is good quality and has a nice weight to it. The stay warm feature stays on for a long time which we like, longer than our previous rice cooker. If you wanna avoid it getting crispy on the bottom, just unplug it after it finishes. Overall, I really love this rice cooker!

This is the best rice cooker for a small family or someone less experienced in the kitchen (me!). It's foolproof and gives you consistently great tasting rice every time. I'm cognizant of chemicals and such in kitchen cookware so I really appreciate the stainless inner pot - clean up is never hard. It's a staple meal for my kiddos. Very please with this.

Simple, elegant, sturdy, high-quality stainless steel pot cooks brown rice perfectly, clear glass cover lets you view contents, larger vent hole keeps watery excess from bubbling over.  Design is  excellent.

I use this rice cooker to cook quinoa.  I love that it's stainless steel, so it's not imparting any toxic coatings or aluminum into my food.  It's well built and cooks my quinoa perfectly.  Highly recommend!

Aroma Rice Cooker

The 304 Stainless Steel inner pot on these is definitely worth the additional cost above the cheaper "non-stick" surface of the less expensive models.   After a couple years of use, the "non-stick" surface starts to flake off - and you end up eating it!  Considering that these cookers last 10 or 15 years, you'll only pay about $1/year more for the Stainless model.
Food-prep surfaces in restaurants are made from 304 S.S.  Shouldn't the ones in your kitchen be that quality also?

Stainless Steel - well worth the cost

This is my favorite kitchen item. We use it constantly to make either oatmeal or rice, and it's just the right size for two people. Sometimes I'll use it to make soup, too. Aroma makes quality items that really last!

Thank you Aroma for that. I tried this cooker and I added 1/2 cup of rice and couple hand full of broccoli and frozen vegetables mix in, with a little bit of water. Next time I'd put my alarm on to like 15 minutes and If the rice is cooked, I'd just turn it off from the wall before the automatic turn off, so to avoid over cooking. Cute nice size for home or for the workplace.

Yay! Stainless steel bowl!

excellent efficient way to flawlessly cook rice. I thought it came with a steamer accessory but it's sold separately. that was my misunderstanding, yet I want you to know this and the steamer portion is difficult to find and purchase even from the manufacturer.

The stainless steel inner bowl is not as sticky as I expected. Even when a little rice sticks, it is easy to remove. The rice cooks fairly quickly and turns out well.
I am a bit concerned about the glass lid, as it sometimes makes cracking noises during cooking. If it ever breaks, I wonder if a replacement is available.

Great Non-Stick Performance and Fast Cooking Time

Love that this is a stainless steel pot which is nice and heavy and much healthier than the non stick aluminum pan.  Love that the handles have billed on both sides where you can place the rice spoon into it and not need a spoon rest to lay the spoon down during use.  The only thing that would make this a 5 star is if it came with a steamer tray and the price is $10 less for the size that it is. Other than that, great quality and style. Definitely recommend this rice cooker.

The unit boiled over and made a mess. Grain stuck to the bottom. Should have cooked then kept warm, and not boil over, but that isn't how it worked.
