Well, so far, just use it for making rice and we rice a lot. And it lived up to what I wanted it to do I make app the 4 cups of rice at a time. It's quick, it's nice, it's compact and I'd recommend this for anybody lives in a small bar manor small house have a small kitchen. It works perfect. You can just put it one of your covers and pull it out when you need it. It also has other advantages. I just haven't used it yet as a steamer to make Charlie anything like that, he can make soups in it. You can do all kinds of different stuff.

I can't believe how many times I have said I love my new rice cooker. Perfect brown rice...I've never gotten it right before. And OMG....no more mess. The starch used to spew out of my previous cooker and I just put up with it. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend this product.

Great and functional rice cooker.

I had a 16 cup rice cooker before. This was almost to big for only 2 people. When the cooker got damaged by our moving company I decided to stay with the same brand only smaller. This one is better than the bigger. It cooks the rice to perfection. Only, try it with 3 cups uncooked rice. I think it is to small for 4 cups uncooked rice.

I love this product. It cooks evenly and is perfect while cooking other things because you don't have to watch it and worry about the rice burning. It turns itself off and then keep your rice and veggies warm until your other food is ready. Best purchase I have ever made!

Easy to use, space saver on the counter, works great for a small family, the best part: stress free rice everyday, as little as you may want. if you need to cook for more than 6 people, it's very likely that you'll need a bigger cooker, or to run it twice, depending on your ration's size, otherwise just great.

This makes perfect rice every time, and the convenience of steaming vegetables at the same time is great. I am a vegetarian so this is a plus, I can make my whole meal in this rice cooker.

Love love love it!!!! I was looking for a small mini rice cooker and I finally found it!!! Guys!!! This is a super cute mini, keyword, **MINI** so yessss its tiny and cute. If your looking for a small rice cooker, this is it.

It is hard to make a fair review as I have used it twice .The first time I used the cooker the brown rice cooked was overcooked .It steamed the vegetable to perfection though.At this point I guess I would recommend it to a friend ,I would tell them to keep an eye on the rice though.

still haven't figured out the perfect rice

First, cooked some really good oatmeal for breakfast, which only required 2 cups of dry oats. Turned out great, was impressed. Then decided to do brown rice with mushrooms for supper, which required 3 cups of dry brown rice. Still well below the max volume for this cooker, which is supposed to be 4 cups of dry rice. Followed Aroma's instructions exactly, used their measuring cup, rinsed rice 3 or 4 times, etc. Everything was great until about 3/4 of the way through, when SUDDENLY large amounts of starchy liquid began shooting out of the steam vent. And, I DO mean shooting, not just dripping or spitting. Everything within 2-ft of the rice cooker was splattered. At the same time, the liquid also began coming out of the condensation collector & pouring all over the counter top. Until that point, the condensation collector was totally dry, so it's not like it was full & simply overflowed. I had a HUGE mess all over the counter top, wall, cabinets, & both the outside & inside of the rice cooker. Took 2 hours to clean it all up. Can't comment on the durability, as it is being sent back immediately, if not sooner! I live at 7660-ft elevation, & cooking rice (& other things) is a real challenge due to the decrease in atmospheric pressure. A rice cooker should do just that...cook rice...without all that mess! I could understand if I hadn't followed directions, or had put in too much rice for the capacity of the cooker...but neither of those are the case. VERY disappointed!
