I searched high and low for years for something that would work for my hair. This is the only product that does it! I use this instead of shampoo, and my hair is soft and moisturized. I hope they never change the formula!

I was looking for something similar to Trader Joe's hair wash which was discontinued. While not at all similar in formula, I found this hair wash to be excellent. I work it into my scalp with a scalp massager then add a bit of water to work through to the ends before rinsing it out. I only use one application. No need to rinse and repeat. My hair is soft, shiny and super clean for days. I love this product and so happy I found it. I do not have curly hair either. I also find it wonderful for my dyed hair.

Excellent product.

I have a hair type that is a combo or waves/curls. Ive used many shampoos and conditioners searching for anything to solve my hair issues. Ive tried the curly girl method and it helped only a little but I had to use so many products for minimal results.
My hair and scalp were dry. No amount of balms or oils seemed to do a whole lot. Finally this was recommended to me and I took a chance on it out of desperation, even though I wasnt sure it was for me.
In only one use, my hair was soft, no longer tangled, and the coconut scent is amazing. I made zero extra efforts with my hair and it went wavy/curly on its own without the frizz! No applying anything more than a drop of oil into my damp hair (which in the past did nothing). No need for curl gels, just this one cowash. My hair is shiny and looks healthy.

soft hair finally!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product's jar was covered with an old sticky residue which should have been cleaned off before it was placed on the store shelf.

I like these products as a substitute for shampoo. I feel like it works for every hair type even tho it says for a certain type. I dont use shampoo so any alternatives I can find are great and this leaves my hair very soft. Even after my hair has been damaged by chemicals and bleach.

I absolutely love this conditioner! It makes my hair feel super soft, smooth, and easy to manage. It smells amazing and doesn't weigh my hair down. I noticed a big difference from the first use. Highly recommend!

I use this after hair oiling and even in between wash days, it works so well and leaves my hair very nice and soft, shiny and bouncy. When I hair oil especially after I use it to rinse it out my hair feels like brand new, and I think its gentle enough for me and my hair loves it, I use it for my scalp whenever I feel nasty before the next wash day.

i always thought that i had wavy hair,. using this makes my hair curly! I've been using this for about 3 years. i kept trying other cowash products but i always come back to this. it cleans my hair and scalp perfectly.

Best Cowash EVER

I've been using this for about 7yrs which really says something. We are always looking for the newest and the best product. I am white and had thinning hair, that wouldn't grow. It always had split damaged ends no matter what I did. I saw a you tube video with a girl raving about it and tried it. Thank goodness!
It is moisturizing but not  heavy.  I only use this to wash and condition then a heat protector.  My hair is now to the middle of my back and healthy.  If anyone compliments me on my hair I tell them about this product 😊 it is not an over night miracle. healthy hair does take time to grow, but this product will definitely improve the health of your hair. My hair is so much thicker and I would have never thought I could have had long hair.  this may not be moisturizing enough for some, but I don't think it would be too heavy really for pretty much anybody. Good luck on the healthy hair search mine has ended.

I now have healthy hair

I've been using Co-Wash for years.  When my very fine, thin straight hair started to become dry and lifeless around age 50, I began trying cleansing conditioners.  Co-wash was, by far, the best!  My hair is soft without any heavy residue, and tangles are a distant memory.  My one complaint is the tub... makes no sense!  One wrong move in the shower, and the co-wash is disappearing down the drain!  I now transfer my co-wash to a pump dispenser, which is 100% better.  Yes, it's a hassle, but worth the trouble!

Great for middle aged straight hair too!

I have type 3C curly hair. I co-washed with this product only & used the leave in conditioner afterwards. This co wash & their leave in conditioner had absolutely no slip. They weren't moisturizing for my hair at all. It felt as if I washed my hair with shampoo and no conditioning. I would not recommend for someone with type 3C curls.
