The fabric is a wool blend material - wool and synthetics - which helps it keep it's shape and fit even in the high humidity where I live.  I think the blend also cuts down on that musty sheep odor that real wool hats can get while keeping the warmth, softness, and other positive attributes of wool. 

I've already gotten a complement. A teen girl in a grocery store told me she liked my hat. Maybe I am a stylish soul.

Great Hat

Ordered a large and was to big and loose. Return for a medium and was to small and tight and the inside lining was not set properly. Bought a grey medium and it was made properly and fit perfect.
