Very Sturdy! Love the height extension. As I am 6'4 and able to stand and work at the desk comfortably.

Love it!

walmart.com

Absolutely love everything about this desk!!! It is BIG so pay attention to the measurements. Will have this rest of my life .

LOVE LOVE LOVE !

Easy four pieces to assemble. The table size and drawers provide a comfortable workspace. The center piece moves up and down smoothly. Love the color and texture. I wasn't thrilled that the desk was on sale but you seemingly have to buy the warranty package for about the same amount. Of course my expectation is that the warranty will not be needed. I got over it pretty quickly because the quality, look and function of this desk far exceeded other desks I was researching in similar or lower price ranges. Bonus - it was delivered in just two days - three days sooner than expected.

Quality, style and function - extremely satisfied.

Ashley Furniture

So very happy with the purchase. It fits perfectly over a 5x7 rug. The lift top is so easy to lift and slides smoothly. There is even a little bit of storage underneath the portion that lifts from the desk, enough room to fit 2 lap tops under. The 2 drawers on each side of the desk are not large, but enough to hold typical office items like pens, post-its, stapler, etc. Have received several compliments on how nice it looks. Only complaint was how long it took from purchase date to delivery, but now that it is here, and it was worth the wait.

I do enjoy the desk and the standing option. The top did come with a crack in it by the corner that's about 2 inches long. It's not noticeable enough to send the whole thing back. It also came with a really weird smell. I had to leave the drawers open for a few days to get rid of it.

But it looks great in our bedroom which is where I setup my office and it matches the rest of my furniture.

Great desk but comes with a smell

Overall I like the look of this desk in my space. It is a great size and depth. It is a little awkward to have a laptop and additional monitor tho. And the biggest issue I'm having is the smell. This furniture has a terrible solvent type smell that after 3 days is still very apparent. Hoping it fades but if anyone has a suggestion to get rid of it I'm open to it!

Nice looking, terrible odor tho

I don't leave a lot of reviews but felt compelled to share my experience here. 1st off, I really like the design and construction of this desk. The scale and style is perfect for the home office I am putting together for my wife.
With that being said ... it has a terrible chemical smell that is slow to dissipate. I believe it is formaldehyde but cannot confirm this. I have had this desk for several days now and it still has a very strong smell and is almost unbearable. I have started to wipe it down with disinfecting wipes and a vinegar/water solution to try and mitigate, but it still is very strong. I'm going to try sitting outside in the sun, and if this doesn't work, I will be returning it to Ashley. I was kind and gave it 3 stars. Very disheartening.

Nice Desk ... BUT... (read on)

All in all the desk is nice and sturdy. The directions were easy to follow. The color is darker than pictured. I am impressed with the lift top, but disappointed in the busted up drawer. I was able to put the handle on but have to be extremely careful when opening the drawer so the corner doesn't break off.

Overall the desk is nice

Overall this has a great look and will be functional, we were disappointed in the "faux" middle drawer. We must have overlooked that detail when reading the description but the main reason I marked it at a 3 is the TERRIBLE smell.
We have been leaving the window open to air it out for almost a week and it still smells. I know over time it will disappear but for now, it's hard to live with.

nice looking desk, color is great but smell is awful

The desk looks great but whatever they spray in the bottom of the drawers is horrendous. The whole house had that chemical smell for days. It's been several weeks and it still is so strong in my office I can barely sit in there even though I have left the drawers open every day and night since I got it! So disappointed!

Looks nice but chemical smell is awful
