Love this table!  We have almost abused it daily for 2 years and it's still going strong.  Easy to clean as well- I just swipe it down with a wet paper towel

Nice coffee table. Light grey that works perfect with my furniture. Fairly easy to assemble.

This is an update of my original review posted on August 22, 2020.
We all love this coffee/dining table. 
In spring, cats realized how cooling the table is and lounge there all the time since. 
If you want to use it as a work desk, I think the lifted top would be a bit too tall but just to dine there, it is perfect. 
Very sturdy and no issue with the spring mechanism.

Update: even my cats love now

I love the lift-top coffee table! I was torn between a stationary table and am so glad I chose the functional lift-top! The table is sturdy and makes evening projects much easier to accomplish. I use the coffee table for games, snacks/drinks, crafts, and to rest my laptop.

Highly recommend

PROS:
-distressed look makes it low-maintenance 
-it is grayish off-white and goes with various decor styles
-heavy but still lighter than other lift top tables
-love eating on the lifted top

CONS:
-when lifted, it comes toward you and too high
(it doesn't lock until it's lifted all the way so the description pic is misleading)
-unsmooth surface (a con for my cats - they don't like the table but I do.)

Low Maintenance Grayish Off-White Table

I really liked this table at first. Until I noticed that the top is not flat. It is made of real wood which I love, and it matches my living room great. The lift top is so convenient. However, the top does not lay flat and is warped. It is very noticeable. There is no way to flatten it and I can live with it but it will always bother me…
