I decided to update my den a few months ago.  I bought a beautiful rug, new light fixture, side tables, and several other items including the Gately Coffee Table with Lift Top.  I would actually describe it as more of an ottoman.  In any case, it is hands down the favorite new purchase!  It's nice and big so there is plenty of room to put your feet up or serve snacks.  The lift top feature is my favorite!!  My husband and I like to binge watch a TV show while eating, and the top is perfect!  So much better than bringing TV trays in and never putting them back.  Several people have already asked me to give them information about the Coffee Table.  I HIGHLY recommend it!!  This is the first review I have ever written, so I think that speaks to my for this piece of furniture!

Sturdy and looks great

I ordered this on-line and love it!  I will say that I ordered the same table from a different site and it was damaged when I received it, but the table I received when ordering directly from Ashly was in perfect condition.  I ordered one day and received the next.

We got this almost 2 years ago now.  Overall it's been a great addition to the living room.  Only downside is the foam cushion under the leather top, has begun to show wear from holding up feet.  I was hoping it would take a little longer to wear, but I was wrong.

My table was delivered in the rain and the box was wet and slightly damaged. When I took it out of the box, I noticed that one corner was damaged. Also the thin piece of ply board stapled to the bottom just hit the floor. But still overall, the table is very nice and very sturdy.

I really like this coffee table.

I love this ottoman!  It looks great and really strong materials.  It came almost completely together, just needed to screw on the legs and the knob to the drawer.  The vinyl top has held up really well to hot beverages, not that I place drinks directly on it often, just something I noticed and wondered about.  The only knock I have is the lift top.  It works great and is really smooth up

No knob for drawer. Barely any storage space, and the lifting piece was broken. Otherwise I rest my legs on it ok. Poorly made

Solid piece of furniture, but came with lots of damage. Wood and cushion top has rubs of varying degrees throughout giving a shabby appearance. Drawer is unusable as the front is not fully attached and no way to fix it.  Portion that lifts up is smooth and easy to lift, but it doesn't close tight enough for the two pieces to fully match up and give an even flat top.

Functional, but barely

I will start by saying that I do really like how the coffee table looks and functions but the lift portion does not fully close down correctly on the left side by keeping ajar and there are numerous knicks and dings on it that feels more a refurbished piece then new.
