These stools are curved in the seat area making sitting very comfortable.  I thought having backless seating for my kitchen table would be awful but these stools are very comfortable!  Also, price is amazing, these stools sell at original retailer for $119 plus tax and delivery!

These stools are money well spent and look great. My only issue was finding 2 sets with the same stain color. I had to buy several sets just to get the same matching 4. Otherwise very sturdy and worth the money.

Beautiful! Love the quality and it added character in my kitchen island. I do get a lot of compliments and questions where I got it. Item is sturdy and very durable. I ended up getting 4. If you are looking for a bar stool that doesn't have the backrest to take up space, then this stool is the one! Thanks Ashley!

We've had these stools for about 8 years. We use them daily. They are just as sturdy as the day we brought them home. There is some wear and tear where we rest our feet, but that's to be expected. You can't tell just from looking at them, but they're also super comfortable. The curve in the seat is perfect for a comfy fit. 👍🏼

Sturdy and comfy!

We absolutely love these bar stools — but we're now faced with a challenge. That's why only 3 stars. We have moved, and need 2 more. But our original pair — which we've had for a year — have darkened. The seats that started medium brown are now dark brown. I can't imagine that if we'd order, we'd get a pair that matched the originals as they now look. We hadn't really noticed the darkening, it happened so slowly. Only when I came back to the site did I realize how much the color of the seat had changed. I'm not about to order 4 new stools to ensure a match. If you're absolutely sure you only need a pair, I would without hesitation give them 5 stars, even though they've darkened. They are sturdy, the seat is surprisingly comfortable for being solid wood, and they have stood up to daily use beautifully over the last year.

Beautiful, sturdy, but seat color darkens over time

Great product.  Quality built and very comfortable to sit on.  Just not happy that the 2 additional stools I decided to add don't match the seat coloring of the original 8 I purchased.  Cannot mix them in; they will have to stay at the far end of the island where it won't be noticeable.

Something changed since my original purchase!

Several stools came with large scratches on the  foot rails. They are very heavy and too heavy to carry in for return. Disappointing because they are nice looking stools.

Heavy but scratched

Nice looking bar stools but very disappointed one had hairline cracks on the seat you could see through them . Not made very well for the price of these stools.

All of the stools did not sit evenly.  Wobbly. The fitment, I give it a 3 out of 10 bc some of the supports and legs did not fit tight, flush, and evenly.  I've already tried swapping legs with other ones.  What I ended up doong was cutting 1/8th of an inch off slowly to make the stools sit evenly.  Then I installed soft pads on the emds so they don't scratch the hardwood floors.  Wish they came with soft pads.  On top of this I got a splinter underneath one of my finger nail that I had to pull out due to some of the legs not sanded down properly.  Overall, it looks decent with my grey hardwood floors, white counter tops, and white cabinets.

Sub par build quality.

Absolutely the worst experience in regards to the assembly process. I currently have the set at my local wood working shop to have make modifications to the kit that came with the order. I will be reaching back out to Ashley when this process has hopefully been successfully completed. Again, very disappointing to say the least!!
