Arrived with no flaws. Excellent packaging including a second box around the Ashley box. Arrived earlier then original date. Per other reviews color is darker then photo, lovely dark cherry/ walnut with pretty inlay border. Only assembly was legs. Large drawer to contain office supplies.

walmart.com

Beautiful desk. Looks great and the keyboard tray is great and also has room for storage in back. Color is a dark brown blending well with other furniture I have in room. The inlaid top is gorgeous. Very well packed for shipping. Went together easily. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Desk

If I wanted you to know one feature of this desk (that's not listed in the description), it would be this: the fold-down drawer front of the "keyboard tray" has lock-releases on the inner sides, allowing it to be used as a full-time drawer if desired!

Wonderful item! Have had it for roughly 2 weeks. Shipment was on time, and the price was perfect (lower than other sellers, and free shipping). Came in very simple packaging; was only necessary to attach the legs with the included Allen wrench/hex key. **Side note: my husband owns a hex key kit, so I cannot speak to the efficacy of the included hex key wrench. **

This is a sturdy desk, with plenty of surface space. There is room for our iMac 27" & it's mouse and keyboard on the desktop; a tabletop lamp, and a second monitor (or laptop in our case). With the laptop put away, and the keyboard pushed back, there is still PLENTY of room for my daughters to spread out their homework! The surface treatment looks and feels sturdy and expensive - it has a sheen, but is not easily scratched. So far, we are very, very pleased.

Purchased for 27" iMac

I looked at this desk for a while ,read reviews and waited. Looked again and bought it.
I love this desk. Looks very nice. It 's heavy . Works for me.

                                                                                                                                            Mim

Great desk. Arrived in less than a week. The only assembly was to screw in the legs with the provided allen wrench. There is a keyboard drawer if you use those. No other drawers. I use as a sewing table. Very solid piece of furniture and heavy - you will need help moving this around. - made in Vietnam if this matters to you.

Well made and sturdy

Ashley Furniture

This is the second Hamlyn 48" desk that I have purchased at Ashley. The price is great for the quality of the desk. The left hinge cracked on the desk I recently purchased so I am unable to use the computer drawer at this time. I am hoping to be able to obtain a replacement hinge so I can use the desk as designed. Aside from the problem with the hinge, I am very satisfied with both desks that I have purchased at Ashley.

I am completely satisfied with the desk.

Just moved into a larger place in the city and needed a desk. I'm still moving in and the movers were very kind to put the the desk together - since 2 men did it, it took 5 minutes! I already owned the chest and nightstand and so happy there were a few different desk options to choose from! Love the USB outlet - very convenient!

We're so glad I came across this desk while searching for one deeper than most and only 4-feet wide. I really like the wide keyboard tray, and it feels substantial when I pull it out and unlock for use. The pattern on the desktop is beautiful, and the color is a little richer and darker than what appears in advertisements. I read that some others had problems from shipping, but mine arrived in perfect condition.

Ultimate Desk

Very substantial, extremely easy to put together, just use supplied screws and allen wrench to attach legs; nothing to it. Desk seems very sturdy, did arrive with small scratch on the desk top surface; drawer is a little lopsided in fit; otherwise it's very pretty and looks a lot more expensive than it was. I am satisfied and like it.

Great value; heavy duty functional and pretty.

The desk is beautiful !! It is made to last and its even better in person . I have bought everything through Ashley since I moved to the state of Florida . My only issue is I have tiny little marks on the front so minor that I won't go thru the hassle of exchanging it . At first I thought it was popcorn packaging stuck to the front but no it is slightly mark up which makes it annoying . I love how fast it was delivered when I ordered it on line .

I rate this a 4 and a half star I would have gone for 5 exce

Furniture is made of poor material> Piece is already cracking and the desk the one leg will not stay stable.

Poor quality of wood materials
