Our stove doesn't have a timer, so this is perfect.  REALLY BIG so I put it on the microwave next to the stove.  WORKS very well and is fun too.

Size of the timer is great. I had purchased it for my mother who was losing her eyesight. But the ringer wouldn't ding when the time had elapsed, so it made the whole timer ineffective. Very disappointing. Had to return the item, and didn't want to chance doing it again.
