My favorite method of using it when the temperature is hotter is to put ice in it and fill it with water; it keeps me hydrated. It comes with a removable straw; I remove the straw from mine and pour the water from it in cups instead when I am on a picnic with my children. It comes in very handy as it holds a lot of water, and we don't have to worry about bringing lots of different water bottles with us. The handle also makes it easy to carry around. And it keeps the water cold for as long as we want. I have not tried this with hot beverages as yet, but it works great for cold water, etc., and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 50 oz Asobu Canyon Water Jug is my new recreation buddy!  I love that I can fill this up with ice cold water or hot coffee and lounge on the boat all day long and it will keep contents as is from dawn to dusk.  It's built solid with a sturdy handle to easily tote around yet rugged enough to set outdoors. It has a wide mouth so you can easily dispense ice from the ice maker. My favorite feature is the pop-up straw so no need to lift up your the large canister for a drink. I love this jug!

My Recreation Buddy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water jug is great.  Love the Blue color.  It is well insulated and is large enough to carry a drink all day. It has a grip handle which is good.  Has a leak proof lid and non slip rubber base.  This came in time because the weather is getting hot and its large enough to carry alot of water in it (50 oz). The best thing I like about it is it has a pop up straw. I would recommend.

Great size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Asobu products. The Canyon jug is the largest model I have so far. It holds 48 ounces. I carry them everywhere I go.  They keep my drinks the coldest out of any bottles I have ever had and they are always easy to keep clean.  I have never had an issue with parts breaking or getting damaged with washing etc.  I absolutely love the straw in this bottle.  It is a regular straw but because it is silicone it fits down inside when you close the top. Genius idea.  I hate those built in straws. It never seems like you get them really clean.  I greatly appreciate the handle on top.  I am always walking around with my hands full and having the handle keeps me from dropping the bottle.  We all know the sound a stainless bottle makes when it hits the ground! Plus the fact that you will more than likely dent it beyond the point of standing up anymore.  That's another thing I forgot to mention is the ring of silicone on the bottom!  Another genius design feature. I love that it doesn't clank down on my granite counter tops. As you can tell I am a big fan. Overall I do not think that you can beat the Asobu's for value and quality.

Hours of cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very lightweight. I would take it anywhere. It is easy to hold and slim enough for cups holder. It hold my ice water to be cold for almost twelve hours. It's a daily essential to have around now

Daily use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water bottle is huge yet sleek. It keeps ice for a full day. The rubber on the handle makes it very comfortable to carry a large volume of water. My favorite feature is the straw that when you open the spout it pops right up for use then pushes back down in the spout to close due to a small piece of silicone on the bottom of the straw. It's really a great feature. I don't care for the rubber nonslip bottom. I've pushed the bottle expecting it to slide and had it tip over. I also am disappointed that it doesn't fit on my cup holder in the car. But overall this is a great water bottle
