the ASRock Radeon 6600 Challenger D is a good graphics card for what it is.  it has 8GB of Video RAM.  bought one as a gift for a friend so he could game on Linux.  it worked great because Linux has drivers for this graphics card already part of the mainline Kernal.  no driver installation necessary (on Linux).  I like it so much I bought for myself.  while it may struggle to play the most Intensive graphic demands of the most demanding AAA game titles, there is way more to computer games than just those monstrosities.   also, the capabilities of this GPU can be stretched by capping the resolution at 1080p or lower.  the larger the resolution, the more video ram is necessary.  by capping the resolution, you can go pretty far with this GPU.  while it's no RTX 5080, it is by no means useless.   a great affordable GPU in a world of crazy expensive graphics cards.   if you know what you're doing and how to tailor game settings to suit it,  odds are, this GPU can get the job done.

I purchased this Asrock Graphics card to replace the card in my AM4 Asrock X570 Steel Legend motherboard. The card is  PCIe 4.0 rated with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The motherboard can be set to share 16GB of onboard 32GB ram memory. I have mine set to share 8GB of memory giving me a total of 16GB of graphics memory. The card has provided me with beautiful colors, great speed and very good resolution. I am using it set as 1080P 75 Hz on my HDMI AOC monitor. Everything is working so great that I have changed my mind and decided to wait on purchasing a 4K HDR monitor. This card is working fantastically  for me on my PC setup. I can highly recommend this graphics card for you especially if your setup is simular to miine.

Excellent built quality and easy hardware and software install. 
I normally use my PC for video editing and color grading with Davinci Resolve   Photoshop work, so it is not that I am going to stress a card like this, but so far it did everything as it should, and all applications run snappy. temperatures stay on the mid 50 celsius even when running high load filters. I tested it with a video game sim, and it was running smoothly 150/200 FPS in Full HD. 
I also use multiple monitors with not issues.
I bought this to replace a 6-year-old Radeon Vega 64 which had a fan issue, so I was used to a very good graphic card, this one is 30% faster and run at half the wattage for 1/4 the price of what I paid the VEGA back in the days.
Could not be happier.

Great solid card.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Asrock challenger rx 6600 with my Ryzen 5 5500 on a B550, motherboard for a while now, and I have to say, it's been a great experience for 1080p gaming. The RX 6600 handles pretty much everything I throw at it—high settings  with smooth frame rates. Paired with the Ryzen 5 5500, there's no noticeable bottleneck, and gaming feels responsive and fluid.

That said, the cooler on the asrock is oretty good staying around 45-50c max whileplaying especially under load.

Overall, if you're looking for a solid gaming setup on a budget,  this GPU delivers great performance without breaking the bank. I'm really happy with the value I got, and for anyone in a similar price range, I'd definitely recommend it!
