Focus

Range

Used this at the range for zeroing a rifle at 100 yards. Target and impacts were clear as day. Easy to adjust and focus. Included tripod is solid for tabletop use.
Stands up to spent brass hitting it well.
Anyone who's used a set of binoculars or a magnified optic will be able to use this easily.

You get what you pay for, sometimes, you get more than what you pay for. This scope definitely falls into the latter. This spotting scope is lightweight. Easy to focus, easy to adjust magnification, and has a clear picture at 20x through 60x.
This is a great spotting scope for the range or for looking for game.

Great product

So I give it a 5 out of 5 stars, however, 0 to 10 only an 8.  Let me explain.  First of all I like it alot and I would buy again.  It's inexpensive however the quality is great.  It looks great but is alittle bigger then I thought it would be.  With that said it is fairly lightweight.  So let's get down to the glass.  Its good, not great, for myself its good enough and I'm not complaining about it, I'm just nit-picking for whomever reads this.  At 20 to about 40 zoom its great and clear as a bell.  Once you get it up to 60 zoom the outside gets pretty "fuzzy" and clarity does go down a bit.  Also at 60 it's hard to get to focus, it can be done just takes a bit of adjustment.  Again for the money I think its the best out there.  If your looking for the best out there then look elsewhere.

I would recommend

I have nothing to compare to. I haven't used a spotter scope before. 
The scope is simple to use. I used the little tripod that came with it and it was pretty stable. 
Optics are clear and focused easy. 
Longest range I used was at about 100yds. Was able to see shot placement ok. 
The field of view is narrow but my understanding is that is common for this type of scope. 
The brown color is nice, kind of a throwback to something my grandfather might have used :)
Price was good. I looked at more expensive units but couldn't justify them for my use.

Nice spotter

I have only had good experiences with athlon products. So much so I've been recommending to others. I don't have plans to buy glass from any other brand at this time.

Athlon continues to impress

If you don't need anything ridiculous, this is a great option. I casually do some long-range shooting when time allows and this is perfect for that in that it functions well and didn't break the bank.

Great Spotting Scope for the Money

Glass is super clear. Functions flawlessly.  Zoom and focus move effortlessly.  Have used for target shooting and hunting scouting.  Id highly recommend!

Excellent spotting scope

use this every time I go to the range either Long-range rifle sighting in or with my Bow for the fun part of shooting 100 yards.

Awesome optics

A great spotting scope for the price point.  Simple and easy to use at the range.  The one down point would be the twist up eye cup it seems cheaply made as if it were an after thought and tends to slip.  Overall a great product especially for the budget minded.  I certainly would recommend.

Glass is great for the price point! Minor defect in the rubber casing cover.
