Been using this mount for about a month now, holds up my 46" and about 40lb LCD TV up just fine, even though we only found three studs to screw it in to. The kit was great, came with two hdmi cords, a cloth and lcd cleaning spray, plus enough screws to fit probably any TV. I love that the TV can swivel in almost any direction, much better than a flat mount. These things cost hundreds at best buy!!

Overall a very good value. It was easy to assemble.and works well. The max bolting pattern with out modification is 23.75 inches so if your holes are further apart than that you will need to find a different mount.

Product is very sturdy and easy to install. It articulates easily so the televison can be viewed at any location in the room. Excellent price and product!!!

The customer reviews were absolutely correct.

Very solid + easy to attach to TV. TV can be pulled out from wall and turned right/left/down. Bracket comes with 2 HDMI cables, wall plug converter (from 2 to 6 outlets) and all kinds of hardware incl lag bolts. Great value package.

Solid Bracket + Accessories

The only issue I had was the static spray that shipped with mount. It would'nt work correct Had to spend half hour to clean screen. But the mount had all the hardware to mount to the wall. An works like a charm. If you are looking for a mount this is a nice mount. Only other issue is the web site shows that can purchase at local store. NOT CARRIED in my store. Will be buying one more for my bed room. Only marked down expections due to static spray.

Outstanding wall mount unit.

We had read all the reviews and were a little concerned, but this was what we needed. Yes it is a little stiff but you wouldn't have wanted it loose. It was not difficult to install ,but my husband is very good at this kind of thing. I think it was a good value and we love it .

Great buy

Since I have steel studs, I had to purchase self tapping bolts to secure the mount to the studs.

Short wall mount length resulted in having to mount the tv 3 inches off center. However, due to the heavy construction, the TV remains horizontal in all positions. If you have flexibility in horizontal location, you will not have to make any mounting change.

Had to slide the lower horizontal mounting bar over to avoid blocking the optical audio output connector on the back of the TV. Sliding the mounting bar over resulted in having to use a nut and bolt from hardware store to secure the mounting plate to the horizontal bars.

Also had to buy shorter metric mounting bolts for my Samsung TV. Also used metric nuts as adjustable spacers.

Very tight hinges. No slop when repositioning the TV viewing angle.

The tilt adjustment is controlled by hand tightening nuts with levers.

All in all, I am very pleased with the mount. A very good value for the money.

Very robust design.

The articulating arm came with all the parts and hardware I needed to complete the installation. The directions were clear and easy enough to follow. The 6mm screws were a little long for the mounting holes in my TV. I considered going to a hardware store to buy the exact length that I needed, but since spacers were provided, I tried them out, which seems to have worked out well. It's been on my wall 2 weeks and looks fine and works well for holding the 50 inch TV wherever you move it.
The mount is a little stiff to move in any direction at this point. On the rare occasion when we want to angle the TV, we feel more comfortable moving it with 2 people. This stiffness of movement is a con when you are trying to change the position or angle, but a pro also, since it doesn't move from the desired position or angle.

Seems sturdy, good directions, functions properly

The only thing I am not impressed with is that the wall mounting bracket holes only go to a maximun 17" and studs in newer homes are from 18 to 20" apart so you have to make a mount to go from stud to stud to make it sturdy. Even the directions it states to mount to "studs only" and not into drywal so it doesnt make sense that they wouldnt make the brackets wide enough!!!

First off the mount is very well made and of high quality. We bought the mount for our new Sharp 60" Aquaos TV. This mount comes with a 6 outlet surge protector and two 6' HDMI cables. I used all of the extras so you may need them as well. The mount brackets assembled fairly easy to the TV. Make sure you take the mount hangar off the mount and get all of the screws started prior to tightening down. You should only have to "hang" the tv to the actual hinged frame that mounts on the wall. Now the negative and why I didn't give the mount a top rating. The frame that mounts to the wall is only 18" inches long. My studs are 24" inches apart. I can't mount this to the wall on all four corners. On top of that there is a stud in the center of wall where we wanted to mount the TV. Thankfully the large lug bolts (I think they are 3/8") are big enough that I was able to mount this with just two bolts on the center stud. I honestly think one would support the weight of the 60 lbs of my TV but I have two mounted vertically in the stud and two other wood screws in the top two corners thru my wood paneling in my living room. Swings out and adjustes well and overall we are happy with it. The stand is rated for 120 lbs but I would be a little weary of mounting something that heavy with just the two lug bolts so beware. Hope Atlantic reads this and extends the mounting frame another 6 inches. I would pay a little more for it if they would solve that problem from an otherwise high quality mount.

Well Built but Measure Your Stud Spacing First

The mounting hardware will not fit a very popular Samsung 60". The combination of bolts and spacers does not make sense. The long bolt and spacer exactly match the short bolt which defeats the purpose of having the spacer in the kit! Needed a trip to the hardware store to get bolts that would fit.....

The mount is sturdy but the tilt mechanism does not work very well. It is difficult to easily set the tilt angle.

Can't mount to a Samsung......
