This is a nice, solid wood coffee table. However I didn't know it has a rough, textured finish like barn wood. It's not that rough, but it is slightly unpleasant to touch and I feel like I will get a splinter from it. The color (burt amber) is duller than the picture, it's more of a greyish brown.  Overall it is okay and will work in our living room.  It arrived very well packed and undamaged. Assembly was super quick and easy.
