I can say enough good things about this product. The canvas is heavy duty and the glue holds like iron. I used it on the corner of my utility trailer canvas and it held great...no leaks. Next I used it to cover inside and out my grass catcher . Worked great. The best way to seal a torn canvas is put a patch inside and out then put something heavy on the patch till it dries. This worked so good I bought a second kit since my glue was getting low. Cant go wrong here!!!

I used this repair kit to patch on an attwood canvas boat cover for my small aluminum boat. The repair kit seems to work just fine. I am less satisfied with the boat cover but the repair kit will actually help extend the life of the cover by re-enforcing some of the weak spots. Walmart probably has the best price for the kit and their free in-store pick up is great.

Worked well, have over 500 miles on several repairs flapping on my truck at over 75 miles per hour of interstate driving.

Canvas

I've only had my patches in place for a week, so not sure about longevity, but so far the glue is holding well and has been exposed to a few thunderstorms. The canvas in the kit is a good thickness and there's quite a bit of it (more than I had expected). I repaired some large rips in the center of my boat cover (right where the support pole holds it up) and put a patch both inside and outside to add strength. If it gets me through the season, it's well worth the $25.

I repaired my boat cover with Atwood canvas repair and it worked fine. I had large hole and it worked well.

Canvas repair Dave

I was hoping this product would help repair my boat cover and it looked like it would, but the adhesive separated and solidified in the bottle so was unusable. Not sure if it was really old or subjected to extreme weather or what but was not able to use. Walmart accepted the return but I went on to use something else. I couldn't wait to return, reorder and hope that this was in the same condition.

Product included plenty of repair canvas material. I had two 6-8" tears and one 24" tear and there was ample material with quite a bit left for other repairs. I scrubbed the torn area with a brush and soapy water and let it dry several days. The glue looks like "Elmers" glue. I let it dry and cure for a full 72 hr.s , yet it still came loose at the edges. I plan on using "Gorilla " brand duct tape on the edges to try and get another 6 months use out of my boat cover. Might be better to sew the tears closed and then use a water proof treatment on the torn areas.

I followed the directions and the patch is coming off 3 days later. I will have to find another adhesive.
