These chairs are very sturdy. The wood is not as dark as I thought it would be but it'll do.  My husband had to drill a couple of the holes when putting them together since it didn't fit perfectly but he's a perfectionist, so there's that. :-/

Good stool, especially for the price!

it is a nice chair for the price.  wish the seat diameter was a bit larger.

These chairs look nice but did not fit together well and were wobbly. I ordered 3 and had different issues with each one. My husband is a perfectionist when it comes to putting things together and he tried different things to get them to fit together correctly but nothing really helped. I am stuck with them since they are put together. I am not sure I would recommend them. I'm disappointed.

The stool really looks nice, but the pieces don't fit together that well. The spars that run between the front and back leg assemblies don't seat all the way in and the result is a separation between the wood of the 2 pieces. Most people that come to my house will not notice this but I notice it and it bothers me. Also, the stool rocks slightly because one leg is short / long, and the feet are not adjustable so there is no easy fix. That being said, the styling of the stool is very nice and the finishes look good.

Looks nicer than it is

The stool looked great, but is very uncomfortable to sit on. We ordered online and assembled, but couldn't return without completely disassembling to ship back. Would be much better if we could return at a store

The ad says a set of 2 chairs, false! You only get 1 chair! I called them and are waiting for a response from Hayneedle. I hope they honor their ad and send me my chairs since I ordered 2 boxes, 2 sets.

Misleading ad

I ordered two of the chairs. The parts are of poor quality.  During the assembly, two of the screws were not going in. I could assemble one chair using parts from two packets. The chair I assembled had a crack on the main body. The quality of the foam is not good as well. This is not more than a trash!! It was a waste of my time.

Trash... Do not buy!!

I thought I was ordering a (set of 2) only to find out it is a listing error ,,,,very disappointed!!
The stool is nice but would have liked getting the (set)

Ughh. Put this together and screws / holes DO NOT line up on bottom side wood bars. VERY frustrating. I returned to the store and re-ordered another as I think it is hit or miss when it comes to the one you get. I will say I bought this EXACT chair back in 2004 and it held up great. It's sturdy when it is made correctly. I wish Linon would check their quality before they ship to stores like Walmart as it's 100% the manufacturer's fault.

Rec'd Defective one but will try again

item is not a set of 2 and seller does not honor what it says. had to order a second one for more than the 1st chair least they could have done was match price
