I have looked all over and this is either hard to find , and when you do the price is to expensive.

Beautiful metallic crochet thread!

Reason I bought the item is, for me to use it to hang Christmas ornaments on Christmas tree. It works beautifully and it adds flickering shine.

I was trying to find J&P Coats brand and was having no luck. I came across this and ordered just from pictures and it was exactly what I needed, matches my "vintage" threads perfectly. Wished my local store carried it but, at least I know where I can get more! I ordered 4 different colors and I am so pleased that I may have to try the other colors!

I have been working with the silver or gold thread for many years.  I did not like the subtleness of the gold highlights.  I also, did not like the stiffness of the yarn. Despite these complaints, the project is coming along nicely. I know with companies are changing the formula in what they produce & to reminisce about what used to be, it's futile; because this is the way it is now.

The New Way Yarn Is Made

Never used Size 3 yarn/thread before. I liked working with this size.
The white/pearl looks different colors in different lights, so make sure you "know" what yarn you previously purchased.

Just as workable as No. 10 thread.
