Custard Taste

A taste of the past. I just loved the taste of my Gran's steamed puddings, and these puds took me back to those times in 1946.

walmart.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a little cup of yum! Try it with some vanilla ice cream or some clotted cream. Easy to prepare and easier to eat.

A taste of British sweetness.

These are nice little puddings. Have had them before. I prefer to have these with custard rather than cream. Enhances the flavor more.

Very tasty.

I really love these. The only ones I have found where the syrup runs down the cake. Tastes delicious.

The syrup runs down.

asda.co.uk

Scrumptious dessert. Make sure you up the cooking time if you have a 750 microwave like ne. Cooking instructions on the pack are given for a much higher microwave with a reminder to extend cooking time if necessary.

Scrumptious with custard

They are tasty but I think they could get the cooking timing better on the box 30sec for a 1000watt microwave then you have to work it out your self if yours is a lower wattage . And I have had better and cheaper than these

They are tasty

a little expensive for what you get BUT they are so easy to do 30 seconds in microwave comes out of casing beautifully to present on a plate - I have tried all flavours and they are delicious

Just lovely

I found the puddings convenient, but they had a very unpleasant artificial after taste. Extremely sweet.

er taste, very, very

wouldn't buy them again

I followed the instructions to the latter, unfortunately these are very dense and not very appetising. The only nice thing about it was the tree called the sponge was really not that great

To dense

I bought these thinking they would be like a normal treacle sponge, but they were very tough in texture, you couldnt taste the treacle, and they tasted like a carrot cake, not like a typical treacle sponge like you would get at school etc..

Very tough & cinnamon taste
