I've been using the Aussie Kids Moist Sulfate-Free Shampoo (16 fl oz) for a bit now, and it's actually a really solid everyday shampoo—especially if you're dealing with kids' hair or just want something gentle.
First thing I noticed is the smell. It's got that light, tropical Aussie scent that feels clean and a little fruity without being too strong or “perfume-y.” It kind of makes bath time easier because it smells good enough that kids don't complain about it.
In terms of how it works, it lathers up nicely even though it's sulfate-free, and it does a good job of getting hair clean without leaving it feeling stripped. Hair comes out soft and manageable, and it seems to help with tangles too, which is a big plus if you've ever tried brushing out wet kid hair.
I also like that it's formulated without sulfates, parabens, or dyes, so it feels pretty gentle on the scalp. It didn't cause any irritation, and it didn't weigh the hair down or make it greasy.
The only small downside is that if hair is super thick or very tangled, you might still need a good conditioner or detangler afterward—this shampoo alone isn't a miracle fix for knots.
Overall, it's an easy, budget-friendly shampoo that does what it says: cleans gently, smells good, and keeps hair soft and manageable. Definitely a reliable pick for kids' hair care.

I love this shampoo (and the conditioner that goes with it) for my son and for me. It smells sooo good, and it washes our hair well. Also, I have a dry scalp and I feel like the shampoo and conditioner moisturizer my scalp well enough so my scalp doesn't itch.

This shampoo has been amazing for my daughter's hair. It leaves it feeling incredibly soft and smooth after every wash. Most importantly, it really helps calm her difficult tangles, making it so much easier to brush through afterward. Highly recommend for kids with stubborn knots!

OMG! I absolutely love this shampoo! I am trying to use only products that are good for me and on my YUKA app this comes up green. Being health conscious is important to me. It lathers well, smells phenomenal and I love the way my hair feels. I have very fine hair. Other products dry my hair out. This one leaves my hair soft and manageable. I would recommend this to anyone. I used to use the adult Aussie Moist but hands down this is better. The adult Aussie came up red on my YUKA app. I'm so happy with this product!!!!

my 7 year old and myself, both use and love the aussie kids shampoo and conditioner. they smell amazing. i love that its light on our hair and leaves no residue. the line of products works really well for our naturally curly hair

I love this shampoo. It goes on smooth on and you only need a small amount to get a good lather. Smells great. The bottle is the ideal size. It's not too big and cumbersome. Love this product.

Love this…!!!

This shampoo really lathers and cleans my daughter's scalp. It lathers so much, i almost wish a smaller amount of product came out from the dispenser!

I have fine curly hair that tends to get frizzy and damages easily. I like this as a cheaper option to Aussie Miracle Coils. I don't think its quite as moisturizing as Coils but works for low humidity seasons.  I really like that its sulfate free. Lathers up just fine.

Great value option

The best thing is that as of the same day used, it has caused no itching like most shampoos do.  However, even with conditioner my hair was flyaway, cottonball- texture (soft but dry) and hard to style and control.  I really feel like sending the shampoo and conditioner back for a refund!

Smell is good, seems to do okay at job of cleansing, but NOT tear free.  I was caught off guard since this is a kids shampoo.  Not a good match for my littles

My daughter and I both tried this and had similar experiences - she has straight fine hair, I have curly fine hair.  Pros: our scalps felt good after using - clean but not tight or dry. Lathers easily.  Cons: there's no slip, and after being rinsed out leaves the damp hair very snarly and snaggy, even after using a conditioner!  We will be returning this shampoo.
