[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im so happy about the two DS lights i ordered! My daughter and niece will love them.

Only problems I saw is one is dirty underneaththe casing, and the other ds screen has a yellowing issue on the bottom screen. Nothing to horrible since they are going to a 9yo and a 6yo.

Although the DS lite technically works, the screen is sometimes unresponsive which causes difficulty playing games. The DS lite also doesn't recognize a game is inserted unless I turn it on, then off, then back on again every time I insert a game. I don't want to go through the whole process of returning and getting another one that may or may not work so I'll just put up with it until I get tired of putting up with it. I understand it's old, but I still feel like they shouldn't sell “refurbished” items that don't fully work.

incomplete info

I received mine in the mail today and its very dirty and the screen is yellow.  not to mention it wont read any games i put in. going to get a refund today. just leaving this review so nobody else makes the mistake of purchasing this hoping to play games from there childhood.

not worth it

Recieved unit with yellowed screens, small amount of dirt in the body seams, no GBA port cover, and a usb cable(no charger).  After contacting the seller regarding this, a short email conversation can be summed up with : send it back at your expense and try your luck, GBA port cover is out of the question, and they will send a charger.

I am not hopeful on that last part.  I have since discovered that my "like new" DS holds a charge for about an hour, after a full charge which rook 2.5 hours with the cable provided.  I given up on this unit, I will give (with a new battery, just ordered) to a friend, and wait for another from a reputable seller.  I do wish i had googled the company prior to my purchase, I suggest you do the same.  

I will update this review should a charger show up, but I have little faith in that.  Buy a used DS from ebay, cheaper and the odds are better
