Avalon 3 Temperature Self Cleaning Stainless Steel Bottom Loading Water Cooler with Child Safety Lock is made with an innovative stainless steel body. It offers a choice of 3 water temperatures. The easy-to-use push button spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press the temperature button of choice and allow the water to flow from the given spout. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we've added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. We have incorporated a nightlight that can be switched on from the back of the unit. This will make filling up your cup at night so much more simple and easy. The dispensing area is 12x3x10 inches with 9 inches of space below the spouts.

This is a great water dispenser and so far it works great.  The only reason I gave a 4 star is that I had a slight problem with the setup instructions, but that is probably just my old age showing.  I strongly recommend this dispenser after only 1 week of use thus far.

I bought this after having to replace a brand new water cooler by a different manufacturer that leaked. It's been great. No issues at all. It cost a little more but it's worth it. Self cleans, quiet, night light, and so easy to change out bottles. The hot water is HOT! And drinking cold bottled water has enabled me to lose weight easily, as well as hydrate, which I've needed to do for years.

Well packed and easy setup and yes got it earlier than originally schead.   So far so good its only been 2 weeks since I started to use it but its great and serves as a prep in case of a storm outage or other situation.

It took a month to arrive but glad it's here! We've only had it for 12 days, but so far so good! It's doing what it's supposed to. I love that I can place my tall water bottle under it and fill it without tipping it like we had to do with our old one of another brand. We're pleased.

So far so good. Bought this to replace a Lumina I bought from Ready Refresh. What a loud piece of junk that turned out to be. Finally tossed it due to leaks. So far this machine is much quieter and better looking. Time will tell if it holds up but I bought it due to self cleaning mode. Word of advice, get the optional stand, the machine sits low.

Trying to register my product but it's making me give a review. I just set it up and seems to be fine. I rinsed the machine and had to watch a video to figure out how to get the white cover off. And I had to watch another video to figure out how to reattach the separator. The instructions didn't say any of that.

The initial startup was frustrating. Hooked up the unit properly but everything had to be perfectly connected. The cap had to be securely placed on the bottled water container, tube fully inserted to bottom, and the door fully snapped shut. The compressor started working and the indicator lights would go on then off and the red empty bottle indicator light started to flicker...why I don't know?? Had to open and close the door a few times to hear the compressor working and make sure the cap on the water bottle was fully secured.  I suspect the unit was attempting to siphon water into the reservoir and needed time but instructions were not all that great about the initial startup. After giving the unit time to fill the reservoir, lights worked as indicated and water began to dispense only after the compressor went through its startup procedure. Other than that, the all-black unit looks very attractive in kitchen Cold water is cold but not icy-cold, since this is not a refrigerator and nor is the hot water very hot. Love the bottom water dispenser design vs the more traditional top-mounted design that can be difficult for older folks, especially attempting to lift and invert a 5-gallon water container.

It only gets a 3 due to it's base costing $70. In my situation (kitchen joined in living room) a shorter cooler is better and more discreet. The water is very hot and very cold. I'd run about 5-10 gallons before using it for the first time to get the plastic taste out of the tube. It's quiet and always seens to be maintaining the water at the proper temperature.

Have owned three Avalon dispensers . When they work they are great. Key word is when. Seems to break down as soon as warranty ends . Friends have a competitor for years and Avalons breaks after warranty which is a lousy year.
