The Avalon Countertop Hot/Cold Water Cooler is made with innovation and style. The easy-to-use paddle spouts make it so much more convenient to use. Simply press your cup against the paddle to let the flow of water to come out. The machines highly efficient compressor makes the cold-water crisp and ice cold at approximately 47° F without the need of adding ice cubes to your drink. The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one's tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 185° F. Due to the extremely hot water, weve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. There is a built-in nightlight making the water spouts clearly visible in the dark. This water cooler is bottle-less with an NSF certified activated carbon filter and a sediment filter with a water line that can be attached to your water source. The water is taken from your water source and filtered through the filters and then through the machines hot and cold-water tanks.

Very nice item. Has a hot water tank, cold water tank and room temperature tank all ready for on demand. All 3 have their own separate switches to turn off and on in case a person doesn't typically use one of features too often. Self-cleaning. Comes with 2 giant filters that last quite awhile. Also has a leak detector and will shut off water supply and flash lights and make sounds to notify of a leak. Comes with all parts for easy installation including a Tee Valve to simply put directly in line with existing ice maker line or faucet supply lines. Would highly recommend. To be honest though, I only even pondered the idea of buying this when I did because a store had them on clearance for 100 bucks. Filters were half off too. Heck of a bargain. Convent for not having to wait for boiling water anymore as the hot water temp is set to 185 degrees.

Efficient and super convenient

My family goes through several gallons of drinking water a day.  For years we had a water dispenser in the fridge and several times a day it needed to be filled with water.  It was a huge hassle and time consuming.  The dispenser also took up a lot of room in the fridge.  I did not want a water dispense that required a bottle due to storage space of the bottles and the fact that we would like be changing the bottle daily.  By purchasing the Avalon Bottleless Water Dispenser, we are able to reclaim the time spent refilling the fridge dispenser and free up much needed space in the fridge.  We are very happy with it! 
It was fairly easy to install.  No leaks on the first attempt.  
My kids love the nightlight feature and rush to be the one who turns it on each night.

water taste so good!! And I am a complete water snob. Very picky with my water. I did have a problem hooking it up. The adapter that screws onto sink - the threads were not long enough or something because would leak out where it screws in and spins around. so added additional washer and also bought another Valve to hook onto it and then hook machine onto that.. now it works just fine with no leaks. could have been my old sink valve in warehouse that was problem the whole time. Just something to look out for. if that happens just throw an additional washer in there. should be good.

Water snob approves. 10/10

It's a step up from our previous Avalon dispenser in looks. It works reliably and the water tastes great. Our chief concern is that the previous model had separate nozzles for each temperature and two of them started leaking after a few years. This model only has one shared nozzle, hopefully that doesn't mean it will wear out quicker.

Looks Great and Works Well

Ive bought bottles and bottles of water before.    This is the best thing Ive ever purchased.  Now I dont have to run to the store and refill 5-gal bottles.  My whole family can enjoy unlimited amounts of cold drinking water.  Out with the old, in with the new.  Dont hesistate to buy this, its worth the investment.

Unlimited cold drinking water

Ours came missing a piece (something used to connect the machine to the eater line) but we went straight to the company, and they were super easy and pleasant to deal with, and overnighted the piece straight to us. 
Loving the machine so far, cold water is cold, hot is hot. Still not sure what the cool option is lol sometimes cold and sometimes room temp  
Easy to dispense and like that the buttons are higher so toddlers can't reach it.

Great purchase

it is a good dispencer  louder than older unit.

Over all the product looks good but the installation is difficult at best. The unit requires an outlet inside a wall cavity which is against building code in most places. It should be hard wired with a power switch on the front of the unit. I got around this with an outlet load wired onto an accessible GFCI. The installation kit came with a T that is stated to be 3/8 compression. 3 plumbing supply stores later it turns out it is a 7/16 compression which is an exceptionally rare fitting size. I ended up using an off the shelf add a T. The provided T uses a barb style fitting for the unit which will reduce flow rates. The provided water supply line is 3/8 OD which works with 3/8 compression fittings. The unit also requires a drain line. The Drain line is 5/8 OD and is trick to plumb into an existing drain. I used a 5/8 barb by 3/4 NPT. This makes for some non code compliant plumbing. The fitting doesn't easily meet up with standard DWV style pipe. In a commercial setting it will require an air gap or a back flow preventer. The 3/8 water line is a nice upgrade from the standard 1/4. The fill rate is better than most. One last small issue is that the unit will not connect to the app for me. I'm using an android and have followed all instructions multiple times. The trouble shooting guide was no help. It would be nice if the unit has a removable tray for to catch the water for use in areas where there is no accessible drain, similar to some coffee makers or refrigerators. The unit is thick enough that it will not fit into a standard 2x4 wall, I knew this going in but it is worth noting. Swapping the filters requires the removal of screws which is less than ideal for something that will have to be done twice a year. On the upside, the dual filtration with UV added seems very nice. It sits about 1/2 proud of the wall which means it takes up basically no space. The design is sleek and modern. I installed it in my home and it has the feel of a very high end upgrade. The price seems fair for what you get.
