Disappointed with the New Formula – Please Bring Back the Old One!
I've been a loyal user of the Old Retinal Formula for many years, and it's always worked wonders for my skin. The results were consistently excellent, leaving my skin smooth and refreshed. However, I recently switched to the new Avene Retinal formula, and I'm thoroughly disappointed.
First, the formula itself just doesn't compare. It doesn't deliver the same visible results that the old one did and the effectiveness seems to have diminished.
The worst part, however, is the packaging. The bottle design is incredibly frustrating! Even when there's still a good amount of product inside, the dispenser simply doesn't work, making it nearly impossible to get out the last bits of the product. This is such a waste, especially when you've already spent money on something that doesn't function properly.
Please bring back the old formula! It was far superior in both quality and usability.

I used RetrinAL intensive cream for years and never had any problems. Unfortunately this product is discontinued and replaced by “improved “ version Retrinal intensive cream that irritates my skin and causes allergic rashes. Please do not discontinue RetrinAL it was such a great product!

My favorite retinal product! Granted it's the only one I've ever tried but it's done such a great job at maintaining healthy and youthful looking skin that I can't imagine trying anything else. I've already used one full one, I'm on my second one, and recently purchased a third as a back up to have in stock. I LOVE this. It's so gentle and non irritating. It would be great to have a retinal product for hands as well because I want to take care of them too so if this came in a version for hands I would *definitely* purchase it.

My dermatologist had recommended this product for a couple of years and to be honest, I balked at the price, but finally realized that my poor face needed help, and I'm so glad I did.  The texture of my skin is so much better, along with correcting discoloration and fine lines.  I baked myself at the beach for most of my life so I wasn't expecting a miracle, but I get so many compliments on my skin and I'm 72!  It really has made a difference.  I also put some on the top of my hands every night and it's been amazing what that has done.  I just wish Avene would sell it in a gallon size!  : )

Real Results!

This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist due to blotchiness, dullness of my face.  I am 55 years old and black with medium skin tone.  After trying it for a few days, I noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin texture.  My skin was left hydrated, smooth and less blotchy.  The results are immediate.  In the past, I brought it on Amazon, but their price recently went up to over $60 for the Avene product. Thank goodness I found it on Amazon for $42.00.  It's worth the money.  You won't regret this purchase.

Best retinal

I have used this product for almost two years. It has evened out my skin tone significantly. It has reduced both redness and brown sun spots as well as reduced enlarged pores.   Several  relatives have commented on the improvement in my complexion.

Excellent

This is the only retinol product that doesn't seriously harm my ultra-sensitive skin. I have seen lasting improvement to my skin over the last two years that I've been using it. It is a foundational staple in my simple skincare routine.

The BEST!

I'm very happy with this cream. I started with the .05 version and liked how easy it was on the skin and how it smoothed my face. I ordered the stronger one when it ran out and I had no difficulty adjusting to the higher strength. I'm usually skeptical of products promising results on wrinkles, but this one works well for me and I plan to keep with it.

Visible Difference Quickly

I'm very pleased with the product itself; however, the bottle is faulty and I had difficulty starting the product's pump and before I knew it the pump had stopped working. I feel there is product left in the bottle but I can't access it and the top is not removable. Why not simply put the cream in a bottle with a removable cap instead of a useless pump?

It has been only a month, I used this product judiciously and the bottle is empty. Very unhappy. Packaging is an illusion. I've used Avene products for a long time and this is a first.
