I tried this serum after receiving a small sample with an order. I have to say, it's the ONLY serum which I've used that I've had amazing results in just a few days. I have never been able to use a retinol product without ending up with horrible breakouts after just one use, so the bakuchiol in this one is a game changer for me. My skin loves loves loves this serum! Age spots have really faded and mostly disappeared in many areas. The moisture level of my skin during the day has increased when layering the Thermal Spring Water first, then the Vitamin Activ Cg Radiance Serum, then the Cilcafate+ Restorative Protective Cream. I will say that I agree with many of the reviewers that the scent added to this serum is unnecessary and a bit to flowery for me. Given that most of us using Avène products have sensitive skin, it would make more sense if there simply was not scent added to this serum. I've gotten used it however and will continue to use this serum.

Within a week, I could see my two facial dark spots had faded considerably. I am very pleased with Vitamin Activ Cg and will continue to purchase it. It is so refreshing to find an anti-aging product that lives up to its hype.

Finally, a dark spot corrector that really works

I love that this combines my two favorite actives into one gentle serum. I've switched to using this over my regular vitamin C and Burt's Bees (discontinued) bakuchiol serum.
Since my eczema has spread, this is gentle enough to use compared to my previous products.

Gentle combination of actives, hydrating

I have noticed a Huge difference in my skin. Texture and Appearance has improved its #1 in my Skin Care Routine on Clean Skin!

My Favorite Product!

I can only give a 4 star right now because I had a major break out that had nothing to do with the Vitamin C, and had to take a break from it. So, I can't say for certain that my skin was brightening. But, I can say that I love the formula! I had no sensitivity to it at all and I did think that it was starting to brighten my skin a little before I had to stop. I'm getting ready to use it again soon. I have textured, old skin and when I have to shave the peach fuzz even with an electric razor, I tend to get a few spots that must get tiny cuts and then act like a break out. But I hope the sales on this rotate often because it's one I'd like to stick with for a very long time.

Only a 4 because had to stop, think its a 5

The product goes on smooth and I'm seeing results. The one draw back is the fragrance. It would be just as affective without the fragrance and one less item to irritate skin.

Review of Vitamin C serum

Product feels like a moisturizer, light and non comedogenic, dry my skin but I believe exfoliation is part of the effect of product, will continue using it and monitor for improvement on fine lines and dark spots

Promising product

This product feels really nice on the skin.  It does have a slight fragrance to it.  I'm not sure if it's any better than my tried and true, Timeless 20% Vitamin C with Ferulic acid.  I'm on my second bottle but I'm not sure if I'll reorder

Vitamin C Activ Cg Radiance Review

I was looking forward go trying this serum and for some reason I'm not really impressed. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin (at least not yet. I usually love anything avene but it's difficult to get over the scent. It isn't bad but don't care for it.

I've been using Vitamin Activ Cg Radiance Concentrated Serum for a few weeks and really like how it feels on my skin. The texture is light and absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. It layers well with my moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning. My skin has been looking more refreshed and even, with a nice healthy glow. A great option if you want a vitamin C serum that feels gentle and easy to use every day
