I had to stop going to the tanning bed and thought self tanning would be awful but it's really not that bad! I love this tanner. I used the B tan dark AF that says darkest but it's about a medium tan. This one is definitely a deeper tan and does seem to develop more quickly. I didn't have any issues, but I followed all recommendations and exfoliated very well beforehand. The smell isn't awful, what you'd expect from a self tanner. I left on about 8 hours (it says up to 3) and rinsed off before bed. The next morning, it was a much deeper tan. I'll reapply in a few days. So, twice a week will be good for me. I'll be buying again.

B. Tan I Want The Darkest Tan Possible 1 hour tan

Fabulous. For the price you can't beat it. Color last long compared to other cheaper tanners. But the smell is a little “off”. Application is easy I usually use plastic gloves and it goes on easy and evenly but can be a little sticky so I like to air dry for like 5-10mins in front of a fan before putting on clothes. The color is good it looks pretty natural it's not orangey. I apply it before bed, wear baggy loose fitting clothing, and rinse in the morning no soap and apply a good lotion. I don't recommend using this more than once a week and be careful when reapplying it is very very very drying to the skin. Definitely use a good lotion afterwards :)

It gets the job done

This is the ONLY self tanner I buy, and have repurchased this brand over a dozen times. 
It does not turn orange. It does not smell funny. It does not streak. The mousse goes on as a weird, almost olive color, which develops into a beautiful, natural bronze on the skin. 
I apply this at night after exfoliating and shaving. I apply a LIGHT coat of moisturizer to my ankle area, achilles area, toes, %26 pat the leftover residue on top of my feet and let it dry down. I squirt the mousse onto a tanning mitt and apply a thin coat to each leg, let it dry, then go in for a second coat if needed. I buff it in well, especially around the foot/ankle area, sometimes even using a foundation brush to blend it out. I allow it to dry (dont bend your legs!), slip on some soft pants or sweats, and go to sleep. I shower off in the morning and am left with a BEAUTIFUL tan that lasts me a good 10 days. This does not stain my clothes or sheets, but WILL stain your carpet if you spill, so be careful- use a towel or a drop cloth lol. A bottle can last me pretty much a whole season, but I recommend having a backup just in case. I absolutely love this stuff and will continue to repurchase.

B.Tan I want the darkest tan possible is my favorite self tanner, I have tried many and I can't believe how great this one looks it's never orange it's a beautiful brown color and it applies and blends so evenly and the tan lasts about 5 days and comes off really even as well .

Best self tanner

Love the color I get from this. I've tried several of the products and get a great summer glow without streaking. I like the color to the mouse so I can see where it's been applied and it dries quickly. I don't love the smell, BUT I haven't found a self tanner that smells great anyway.

Summer Glow

This is my favorite tanner to use and it gets me nice and tan! I've used a mitt and a brush to apply it. one time application is all I need for a week and a half. It does transfer to clothing and I have to take about 20 minutes to apply and fully dry before getting dressed. It comes out black and foamy and I have been able to get a good color even when I use a mixing bowl I bought from a beauty supply store and a small whisk and put a little bit of nice scented lotion in together and I apply it to my olive complexion skin. Make sure you rub it in with a mitt or brush evenly and don't put it on your elbows, ankles or neck area like you would the rest of your body. if you use it on your face I would suggest lighter product on a brush and be careful with it around your nose and fine lines it will be darker if you are not careful. I use it sparingly on my cheeks as well since I have some acne scarring and it has made them look darker and stand out more. There is a self tanner smell to the product although it mellows out when I have mixed it together with my Bath and Body Works lotion I had bought from Walmart shipping department. Made it smell a lot better. I also use a gradual tanner I had bought from Walmart. It helps keep my tan nice and my aging skin is so silky smooth and added elasticity to it. Very impressed with BTan products. Very easy to use for a inexperienced user and great price. one bottle lasts a month.

I have used tons of self tanners and lotions - st Tropez use to be my fav until this. This is literally my go to never fails me- color is so dark and beautiful I've never had streaks or unevenness, I apply using the Walmart brand mitt and use a elf makeup brush to buff out face feet and hands after application. I'm obsessed with this tan. I've tried all the b tan and this is the darkest and most long lasting

Love it! I have been a sunless bronzing user for Many years with a long list of products that I've tried but also, I stay in the $25 and under range as well.  With that being said, I've had a handful of ones that I've been extra pleased with or became a repeat buyer and this is definitely one of them. i get the Darkest Tan Possible Foam and its light, goes on smooth, dries within 5-10ish mins (where i feel comfortable enough to get dressed anyways), very light scent but not a "self tanner" smell, and the color is extra dark brown with almost a slight olive base which is great because i have alot of pink/red tones in my skin and freckles. Anyway, out of all the $25 and under products I've tried over the years, this is definitely in the top 5. And for foams-top 3. A simple pointer that makes it easier to apply is to put lotion on your knees, elbows and feet Prior to applying lotion so it is an even tan. Also, you can get a small cup or lid and add several pumps of your favorite lotion and then add in the foam or any bronzer, mix well and apply. works well and absorbs evenly.

This used to be my go-to self-tanner — it gave me a super dark, even tan and lasted for days. But the last few bottles I've gotten just haven't worked the same. The color barely shows up, and it fades after a day, even with moisturizing. I'm not sure if they changed the formula, but something feels off. Hoping it goes back to how it used to be, because it was a great product.

disappointed lately

While I don't think it's as good as my morw expensive one it does work. The foam is gray and looks gray on the skin but it developea over time. I leave it on as long as I can. It stays tacky/sticky for a while even with standing in front of a fan to deg off. Again for the price it's not bad but it a trust the process tanner to me. I also didn't notice any strong smell to me.

Burger Friendly Alternative

Oh, the self-tan mousse did go on nicely.  I was extremely careful when applied to clean dry skin to cover all areas equally, wearing a bathing suit. But after a few hours it dried with streaks in big blank spots. It looks like spilled shoe polish on your skin. I re-applied the mousse 4 hours later in the evening, trying to get an even-looking tan. Now it looks WORSE with big skipped light and dark skin spots on legs and arms!  What a mess! Took days to try to remove tan mousse, using soap and water, Vaseline, and even alcohol. Could only wear blue jeans and long sleeved blouses. Mousse has met it's days, it is in the garbage can. I purchased 2 bottles to boot, thinking is was as good as Jergen's tanning product only giving a darker tan look. This mousse is awful to use.

DO NOT PURCHASE IT IS AWFUL.
