Charges my 18v and 36v batteries quickly. Fairly quiet, quieter fan than some comparable chargers. My favorite feature is the USB port, allowing me to charge my phone/other devices using this as well. It can also backfeed, allowing me to use a battery to charge my phone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. I am a professional carpenter and since November 2020 have begun to use only cordless tools and Metabo is the brand I trust. The 4 ah battery gives me a full 8 hour day of work with no lag in cuts even after 8 hours and well over 100 cuts. I started my Metabo cordless collection with the 18ga finish nailer and was so impressed I have since purchased the 10" sliding compound miter saw, the 7 1/4" circular saw, the impact, the hammer drill, and from this point forward when I have to replace a tool it will be with a Metabo.

The charger is super-efficient, lightweight and small for its power. It has a cooling fan, USB outlet, and cool blue light. (After sliding your battery into the charger, the red light will turn blue and flash 10 times; then the cooling fan will "click" on.) The 4ah/8ah MV battery, which I've already reviewed, continues to amaze me with its power, durability and long life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this set about a month ago and WOW! I'm sincerely impressed. First, I'm just really happy that the batteries fit my (10 year old) Hitachi impact driver and drill. The batteries that come with the set charge in about 20-30 minutes (depending on how dead they are), the older 1.5 Ah batteries take just 10-15 minutes. I love that there's a little sound to let you know the batteries are charged, and the light indicator is very bright and clear. The fact that there's a fan to make sure nothing is overheating is fantastic. The USB option is a really nice extra. The batteries are lower profile and lighter, and they last a really long time. I do woodworking as a hobby, building or repairing things for my house or friends and family, so they're not under constant use like on a construction site, but they last for hours of drilling or sawing.

FAST charging, GREAT battery life!!!

18V Li-Ion Batteries are the grease that keeps the wheels of progress spinning.  Buy a bunch of them.  Lots of big batteries means lots of work getting done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this starter kit about a year ago and still amazes me the speed at charging the 36v battery. This charger is very well thought out with blue and green graphics during charging, USB port on the this charger has saved me a couple of times with my other electronic devices while on the job. The battery life is just unbelievable that I get when using my 36v Metabo 7 1/4” circular saw that I bought when I purchased this starter kit. I left a review about the saw before this review. I absolutely enjoy (and look forward)  to using the saw for my job and home projects. I'm 70 years old (with arthritis) and have used this saw with the 36v battery with no problem. I've since sold my red and yellow cordless tools and will be building up my cordless tools with Metabo. Thanks Metabo.

Fast charging, USB port, great graphics.

Nice charger with the ability to charge 14.4 and 18 volt batteries. I'm not so sure of the speed in which it, but the batteries last such a long time it's crazy. I bet I drove 550 - 2 inch deck screws without needing a charge, That is impressive! So. In review this is a nice set up whether or not the charger is any faster than any other brand. I know one thing for sure if I were charging one battery while using another. The dead battery would be long charged before I would need the recharged one.

I love Metabo brand products that I have used. I have to say the 23 gauge cordless pin nailer is the worst nail gun I have ever used. I own a woodworking company where I use nail guns all the time. I had a problem with the gun right out of the box the gun wouldn't work at all. After returning the gun and trying a 2nd one. The pin nailer would only work in the up right position and would jam if you tilted the gun even a little bit. I'm very disappointed in this product since I use many other products of this brand.
