Makes a good fast waffle. It takes longer to mix the ingredients together than it takes this waffle maker to make a light and fluffy waffle.  From time you break your first egg to when your eating your first bite of waffle is 10-15 minutes MAX. After first waffle is made the next ones will be quicker because the plates are already hot. The "READY" light works for good to let you know.

In my opion I got what a paid for I will be purchasing a more high end waffel maker in the future. I say this one is poorly constructed and hard to clean. The first one we got went out the first time we plugged it in but I called and was sent a replcement right away.

Unhappy waffel maker

This was a great waffle maker and easy to use.  However, the small pin that keeps it from rotating when open doesn't pop up anymore and when I opened it to get a waffle out it fell over.  Tried to catch it and burned myself.  Ended up hitting my mixing bowl and breaking it also.  Still usable, but takes two hands and LOT of care not to tip it over.  Very sad.  I really liked it.  Wish it had been a little better quality.  My recommendation is to find another brand with a better way to keep it from rotating while the lid is open.

Made great waffle but handle broke and caused burn

This waffle maker owes me like $30 in protein powder. I use Kodiak pancake/waffle batter every time. I have tried with less liquid or more protein powder. Different thicknesses! Nothing ever works. In the end I got 4 out of 20 to come out. I spent more time scrapping out the batter than getting a waffle that was edible out of this machine. Save your time and don't buy this. It is not non-stick. Base is made out of plastic and poorly constructed.

I liked this waffle maker because it is light weight and cooks great waffles. The third time I used it, I turned the handle to flip it but wasn't able to turn it back. I ended up unplugging it and had to force it to turn upright and the handle broke. So annoyed!! Because this was the 3rd time I used it.
