It's great to find these drive enclosures around still, they come in handy when backing up older computers and laptops or salvaging old hard drives. I also have an nvme enclosure by Benfei and I have to say I really like their quality.

The USB cable is not detachable, which some might prefer but it wasn't critical for me so no big deal.

Will definitely buy more whenever I need it.

Great little drive enclosure

Worked right the box.  Very plug and play.  Please just make sure you have the correct OS for it to work.  Works fine with Windows.  Will not work with a Chromebook.

It's made well and has dual usb connecters. Windows 11 recognizes the drive. I had problems with other drives not being recognized. this fixed it. I have purchased 3 so far and recommend it.

Solution for Windows 11 external drives issue.

This converter works amazing as long as the drive you're trying to convert to usb fits inside the case. if you try to use a device that's too large for the case, it won't fit and therefore can't be converted to usb. most drives will fit length-wise, but if it's more than about an inch thick, it won't fit. the photo I attached is the drive I used and it was the perfect size for the converter

Great Coversion Option For The Price

It works great it just wasn't what it was supposed to be, the initial title said it was a hard drive not a hard drive encloser.

Good product bad advertising.

It was the only one I found that would read a drive larger than 2tb, I needed to use a 4tb SSD.
the only negative is the permanently attached USB cable, making it impossible to fit in my portable drive pouch.
not a deal breaker, but worth taking note of.
otherwise works well so far.

It is critical to know the interface type for all external enclosures, this enclosure provide NO information as to it interface type other than USB (which is obvious).  Is it 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 or something else?  I'm still not sure what it is.

Missing A Lot Of Information About The Product

Installed a Crucial MX500 2,5" SSD , but my Linux OS saw only 1Gb.  It tried to refomat the drive, it wouldn't allow it. Worthless, I didn't ask Walmart for a return because cost of the enclosure wasn't worth it.  Maybe it works on a Windows PC, but I don't know as I don't have one.

Junk

I did not work at all. The drive did not even fit inside and would not even close. The drive is a Seagate. Not worth the money.
