I have used several different manufacturers and this is the best I have ever used. It does NOT sing when there is pressure on the line, and its running through your guides. I really like it.

Best braid for spinning reels

I've been using X9 since the winter when it first became available and it's increased our success rate with light lures like soft plastic jerk baits greatly. The small diameter and good strength allows us to cast lighter lures and permits them to sink better.

Best Berkley braid yet

I've literally tried 30 types of braided line and this is one of the best.  Smooth and thin. I'm not going to claim that it's stronger than any other lines because nearly all 20lb lines break around 20lbs.  But X9 performs better, especially in places where thin line matters.

Thin and Smooth

This is a great product.  I bought the 10lb as I have just recently starting using braid to mono and braid to flouro leaders on my spinning gear.  This is super smooth line and is easy to manage and tie when joining it to your leader line.  It casts like a dream and is smooth through the guides with minimal sound and resistance.  I highly recommend the x9 if you are tired of wind knots, kinking and memory in your traditional mono or flouro setups.  First trip out landed multiple 2.5-3.5 lb bass and the bite with braid is just amazing.....Awesome product!

Very smooth casting!

This is by far the best braid for Froggin and Flippin.  The casting distance you can get with a frog is amazing. It also doesn't fray when your in the pads all day.

Great flipping and Frog Braid

I never fished braid on my spinning rods until this line came along. It is so quiet and smooth, I love the limpness and castability. I use it on virtually every rod for every purpose, including drop shotting and any finesse technique. Paired with Trilene 100% Flouro leaders, you just can't beat the setup.

I have used this line everyday for a week....if your fishing and not using X9 braid

Awesome Line

This line performs great. It's smooth thru the guides and good a good casting line. All braid should be this nice. I will be buying more for sur!

Great Line

This is all the braid that I have used since it came out.  Attach pure fluorocarbon leader with a double uni knot and you are set to go...  Very smooth casting because it spools flat to the reel.

I had this line on a new daiwa bait caster about 3 weeks ago, it frayed just like it did on another reviewer.  Immediately went back to the tackle shop, got rid of the 30lb line and replaced it with the 20lb line.  Never had a problem with that line.
