[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used bic regular mechanical pencils all the time to take notes for work. Sometimes I am annoyed when the lead breaks.  I use alot of pressure to have precision.  I love these pencils because they do not require all that pressure and the are still very precise. The lead is stronger too even though it seems smaller.

Perfect for detail drawing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Bic Xtra Precision Mechanical Pencils. I love to use them when i draw because the .5 mm lead is small enough to do detail drawing. .5 mm pencils are very hard to find anymore. I have recommended them to all my artist friends. They erase clean and they are super comfortable to handle. As long as i can find them i will definitely buy them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good pencils.  I found the lead to be a little darker than previous pencils which is good.  They're handy.  I keep one in my purse.  I like that they're clear so that you're able to see how much lead is left in the pencil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pencils should have brighter colors I wish. The point of the pencil gave out a lighter darkness than I expected. I had to grip the pencil harder to print darker. These are good for many purposes but expect light color brightness and more force to get the darkness you want.

These pencils are good not great.

I believe the lead is the same size as all the other 0.5mm pencils. I use a lot of pencils for our design services. Nothing negative..
