[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The BIC ReVolution Ocean Retractable pen is a great writing tool. The ink flows smoothly. The pen itself has a nice design that reminds me of ocean waves hitting the shoreline. When you press the top down, the pen tip is exposed. To retract the tip, you press a button on the side. The ink has a nice color to it that is neither too light nor too dark. This pen is great for a wide variety of uses such as jotting down quick notes or for writing letters.

Great Writing Tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed some new pens, these looked good, I liked the packaging. These pens write well, I have had no issues with them. They feel nice and solid, and seem to write first time. I keep some in the car, and in my computer bag. None have leaked, and all have worked.

Good pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm always trying new BIC pens and I'm glad I tried these. They write just like a normal pen but I like the eco angle of this product. Good quality and same ease to write with as the non-eco version of the pen. Ink has held up well so far. Good value for the price.

BIC pens are the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy using 1mm pens because of the thicker lines they write with (I have big, bold handwriting). This pen leaves smooth, thick lines that are satisfying. As a retractable, the clicker is a little mushier than I would like (less satisfying to use than the writing itself).

I bought them the last week of August (at the start of this semester) and only use them for class.  I am taking 3 college courses.  And, I have already completely emptied one pen and am halfway through a second.  That's after only 5 weeks.  I do take a lot of notes, but I don't think I've ever had a pen run out of ink this quickly.  

That being said, they do write very nicely, never skip, feel fine in my hand, and overall work as expected.

These are great pens but NOT long-lasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love that these are made from recycled plastic! Super great cause. However, the grip on the pen is a little rough to write with for long periods of time. Since the pen is a little thicker than most, it takes a little getting used to, but it writes really smooth and has all the quality of a regular BIC pen, I just wish there was a bit of cushion on the grip.

Didn't Like These Pens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these pens a couple of months now, and I'm not impressed. They don't write well/smooth.  The ink is very light when writing. I also find that I have to press harder than normal when using one.

Not impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like these but I found them unpleasant to write with. The amount of pressure you need to make a mark made writing with these somewhat of a chore. Writing is easier on a pad as opposed to directly on a table but the pens leave deep groves on pages beneath which I did not care for. The ink does not smear so these would be suitable for left-handed writers.
