Amazing product. The vacuum of my dreams! Super easy and I love the lights at the front. 100% would recommend!

Dream Vacuum

BISSELL Homecare

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used mainly for pet hair. Also really like the portable brush attachment for the stairs and hard to get to places. I really like the capability to dismantle easily to use as a handheld vac. for corners, high places and celling fans. The only negative thing is it is a little heavy but well worth investment.

Buy it you'll Love it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Is great! I had an outdated canister model, not Bissell, that finally gave up. I have had Bissells in the past so thought I would try. So far, it has been outstanding! Super light and easy to operate. I LOVE the light on the front. I saw more dog hair than ever before with that light. I honestly didn't realize how bad my vacuum cleaner was! This thing did an amazing job on the floors and the rugs, I had so much hair in the canister from one room that I could have made a new dog. I am so thrilled I got this!

I love this!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] nice vacuum pick up dirt better then what I had. Easy to use. Able to clean the stairs without having to unplug the plug.

Nice Vacuum

Works great for me and deals with pet hair great! Nice ability to move and pivot. Everything it was described to be and works better than I thought it would with two cats and a short haired dog.

Great vacuum

Pros: canister lift off is portable, easy for stairs. The light feature is fantastic. Fairly easy to clean.

Cons: surprisingly, the suction isn't as powerful as I'd expected, esp. for a pet product. I had to go over the hardwood and area run several times. Some debris will get stuck in the canister and need to fish it out.

Decent. Not worth the price.

Janelle McFarlane

I purchased the Bissell Lift-Off vacuum a little less than a month ago to replace my older Lift-Off model that finally kicked the bucket, and was honestly my favorite vacuum I've ever owned. When that one stopped working, I was really excited to be able to afford another one, and I had high expectations based on my previous experience.

There are definitely things I like about this vacuum. I like the overall size, the lift-off feature, and the detachable above-floor cleaning option. The light is also a great feature. Overall, it's easy to use and easy to clean, which I do appreciate.

That said, the biggest issue for me is the suction. Compared to my previous Lift-Off vacuum, this one just doesn't perform the same. I have mostly hardwood floors, and it struggles to pick up dirt, dust, and hair the way my old one did. That's been really disappointing, especially since that's the main thing I need a vacuum to do well.
I really wish I could say I love this vacuum, because there are several features I genuinely like. But when it comes down to overall performance, I'm disappointed.

Based on this experience, I don't see myself purchasing another Bissell in the future.

Good design, poor performance

I find it very frustrating that there are no attachments. It doesn't work very well on hard floors at all. I'm very disappointed.

Needs attachments

Just bought this today. Got it home and total disappointment. The cord is to short. It hardly has any suction. I have to vacuum the floor 2xs to pick up the pet hair. I do not recommend this vacuum. Even the cheap ryobi stick vacuum has more suction. Pay the extra money and get a shark pet vacuum.

Horrible vacuum.

Would not recommend this vacuum cleaner if you need it to pick up dog hair which is why I purchased this product. Very disappointed. Will be returning to Shark products

Would not buy again
